Posting #1 Contracts Assisting Student as Contracts Assistant, Reporting to the Contracts Specialist (downtown Vancouver office). The

ideal candidate for the Contracts Assistant position should be interested in business administration, project management, contract management or supply chain fields. Through this placement, the student will develop an understanding of working in a professional environment, gain exposure to Teck’s Quebrada Blanca Phase 2 project in Chile from the contract management perspective, what contract management entails and how fits in within a project in the construction/execution stage.

Entrance Awards and Scholarships Douglas Entrance Awards and Scholarships are open until March 2, 2020. If a student has

received conditional acceptance, they can apply online. Douglas College gives out over $1.2 million every year to support students and reduce barriers to post-secondary.

PACWEST Volleyball Championships Grade 11 is the best time for student-athletes to connect with the Douglas College Royals.

They’re invited to the 2020 PACWEST Volleyball Championships, hosted at Douglas College on February 20-22, 2020, on the New West Campus.

Admission is free for high school students.

2020 BC Parks Student Ranger Program

Applications are now being accepted for student ranger crew member and student ranger crew lead positions. The competitions close at 11:00 pm on

February 23, 2020. BC Parks within the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change Strategy has

created the BC Parks Student Ranger Program to promote outdoor youth employment opportunities across the province. Students studying and/or interested in pursuing future studies or employment in a related field are

encouraged to apply.

Encounters with Canada

Have you heard of Encounters with Canada? It’s a camp that allows you to visit Ottawa and learn what your future may look like.

This is a unique opportunity for teens 14-17 years old to spend a week in Ottawa, meet with other students from all over Canada and explore career options through experiential learning.

Entire cost of trip is $750.00
