What is PPP?
A business relationship between a private-sector company and a government
agency for the purpose of completing a project that will serve the public.
Two important characteristics of PPP.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
![Page 11: Bsc Project Proposal Defence](https://reader036.vdocuments.us/reader036/viewer/2022062410/5695d2051a28ab9b0298d389/html5/thumbnails/11.jpg)
11
Problem statement
• PPP has been adopted around the world as a service delivery tool, instead of
the public sector the private sector creates the asset through a dedicated
standalone business.
• In developed country 7 percent of GDP is invested on infrastructure to make a
balance between basic facilities and growing population, but in Pakistan we
invest less then 6 percent of GDP due to fiscal financial condition of country.
