SUMMER INTERNSHIPSThrough the duration of the course at SSE, students are encouraged to take up positions as interns in firms and NGOs of their choosing, as part of the course requirement. There are two internships to be performed (one at the end of every of academic year), to increase their skill and proficiency, and ensure that they are in a better position, with regards to skill sets, to be employed in the field of their choosing once they complete this Bachelor’s Programme.

HOW TO TAKE ADMISSION

It is mandatory to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) for admission to SSE.1. For details about SET, kindly visit www.set-test.org2. The applicant will receive a prospectus from Symbiosis

International University.3. Online Registration for B.Sc. admissions will begin from 19th

February, 2014.4. The applicant is required to fill up an on-line application

form and pay Rs.1000/- to become eligible for admission to SSE.

5. The payment of Rs.1000/- can be made by any one of the two options-

Credit Card or Net Banking.Demand Draft – (Kindly mention your name and the SET ID number on the back of the Demand Draft)

The payment can be made in favour of ‘Director, Symbiosis School of Economics’ payable at Pune.Selection is done on the basis:6. SET score7. Based on the SET score, the institute will conduct a Personal

Interaction (PI) and Writing Ability Test (WAT) for the short listed students. The short-listed candidates will get a call for the PI-WAT.

Eligibility1. XII pass from any branch with minimum 50% marks for the

general category and 45% for students of SC and ST category.
