NT Management
Covers all operations that have to be performed on Windows NT and other third party products software that are part of the AP platform.
Those operations are mainly executed during installation and configuration of the APG40.
This requires access to all Windows NT services, by command and via graphical interfaces. Third party products shall be part of this category too.

AP Management
Covers all operations related to Ericsson SW running on the AP (APM, APIO, FOS, STS, etc).
Those operations, described in OPI documents, consist of AP commands and make use of some Windows NT graphical utilities (called GUI, Graphical User Interface).
Commands are sent to the AP via a command line interface (CLI) over a Telnet session. It is recommended to use WinFIOL on the LCT as the Telnet application for AP commands.
Graphical User Interface clients are opened locally on the LCT (Local Craft Terminal), and can monitor or manipulate AP data through a remote connection

CP Management
CP management (if the APIO application is installed on APG40) covers MML commands and printouts (spontaneous and result printouts) via Telnet.
It is recommended to use WinFIOL and Tools on the LCT as the Telnet application for MML commands and printouts.

Provides common services to platform applications and acts as an interface between the platform applications and the rest of the AXE system.
Main Platform Services. Support for Function Change. Diagnostics, Automatic Recovery Surveillance of External Network. Troubleshooting Support. Clock Synchronisation and Heartbeat. Virus Protection Software.

LBBLarge Building Block
includes most parts of the physical computer, Windows NT, Microsoft Cluster Server and some third party software.
LBB-HW is the hardware structure of the APG
LBB- SW, the AP runs one instance of Windows NT 4.0 Server on each node, one configured as a primary domain controller, the other as a backup domain controller.
