CAESAR II for Users
Pipe Stress Analysis using CAESAR II. We offer this practical session to allow you to get ‘hands-on’ with CAESAR II, the world's most widely used pipe flexibility and stress analysis software. During this software seminar you will use CAESAR II to develop, and analyse multiple piping systems. The
topics covered include placing supports, loop optimisation, nozzle and flanges checks, generating appropriate load cases, and API 610 analysis, as well as using FEA Tools to dramatically increase the accuracy of your pipe stress analysis. This seminar is the perfect opportunity for those who would like to become familiar with the software and get a thorough introduc-tion, as well as those looking for an exchange with other experienced users. A workstation is available for each participant to practically apply CAESAR II under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

ASME Code and PED Requirements The ASME Code as a sound basis to meet the requirements of the European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED). The seminar begins with a general introduction into PED 2014/68/EU to make the participants famili-ar with its features — you will learn how to apply the regulations efficiently. Furthermore the practical application of the directive will be demonstrated on an ASME Code stamped pressure vessel. In this context typical issues and challenges such as material, impact testing, personnel qualification etc. will be addressed.
