Brief function introduction

4-axis motion control 5.7 inch monochrome LCD, resolution would be nice with 320X240 pixel it can store about 2000 programs For each program at least 10 million data of holes can be input There are different working modes like full/ partial automation and testing, it is convenient for users to reach selected hole hole-dividing, copy and transition functions Users can carry out the data modification 8 programmable output (including 1 color output ) Screen protect function

It has U-disc analog function (controller is emulated as a U-disc) which is used for data exchanging.

Pages introduction

In the controller there are four major pages, which can be switched by keys of [menu],

[adjustment], [parameter] and [diagnose] on the keyboard.

1. Main page

Press [menu] and enter main page as following. All normal machining tasks will be carried out in this interface.

Detailed instruction:

1) Product number:the number of the product currently under machining.

2) Output:plus 1 to data after each machining, and you can press [F3] to clear. The Output will reset to 0 automatically when changing products.

3) Total holes quantity:current product contains the total holes quantity from the initial point.

4) Current hole: refers to the hole number that the cursor is currently at.

5) Status:refers to current machining status (running/pause/stop)

6) Mode:current working mode (full automatic/partial automatic/testing)

7) Information: display three columns of information with the newest at bottom.

8) The bottom column represents the key function of F1-F6

9) Bigger number represents current position (against initial point)

10) Main axis speed display current the rotate speed of main axis

Functions of keys in main page

Key Function

Number

keys Use with [repair hole] and [previous hole], [next hole] keys to reach wanted holes positions directly

F1

Repair hole, if you don’t input number key, it will punch once at current hole position; if you input the number

key, it will go to the appointed hole position and punch.

Considering safety it is required to carry it out at high order.

F2 Working mode choosing: users can switch among full automatic, partial automatic and testing modes by

pressing this key.

F3 Clear the output

F4 Choose the product to be machined and create new products

F5 Return to zero point. It is normally used to create initial point for new products. Please check “Data testing

operation” for details

Considering safety it is required to carry it out at high order.

F6

Return to initial point. It must return to the initial point after starting the machine and changing the product in

order to assure correct position. The course is: return to zero point first and then return to initial point.

Considering safety it is required to carry it out at high order.

Upper

hole

If users don’t input number key, it will move to previous hole position; if users input the number key, then it

will move to the appointed hole position directly.

Considering safety it is required to carry it out at high order.

Lower

hole

If users don’t input number key, it will move to next hole position; if users input the number key, then it will

move to the appointed hole position directly.

Considering safety it is required to carry it out at high order.

Start Same as [start] button on operation box. To start machining the product by pressing this key.

Pause Same as [pause] button on operation box. To stop machining the product temporarily by pressing the key.

Cancel It is able to clear input numbers

Note: buttons on the operation box are effective only under main page.

2. Adjustment page

Press [adjustment] to enter the page as following

Detailed instruction:

1) Hole No:to indicate following number represents which hole. 0 represents initial point.

2) n-axis: represents data for each axis.

Note: data of initial point is against the distance to zero point, so the position value is displayed as 0 at initial point; while the data of other points are against initial point. All the hole positions will shift due to initial point data modification. Modification on the data of other points will only affect the modified hole while others will not be affected.

3) Color: able to program output points

4) Output: seven programmable output points

5) Total holes quantity: total holes quantity of current product containing initial point

6) Current hole: indicate the number of current hole

7) Speed: indicate the speed of manual moving

8) The bottom column represent the key function of F1-F6

9) X, Y, Z, A and B represent the position of each axis.

Keys function in adjustment page:

Keys Functions

0 To modify color output, synchronous action of real output.

1-7 To modify the output for 1-7 points, synchronous action of real output.

+/- To modify the speed of manual moving

Previous hole Move to previous hole

Next hole Move to next hole

X+/X-

Y+/Y-

Z+/Z-

A+/A-

B+/B-

To move axis. Move 0.1mm by quick click. Successive moving by press on it without loose, and

moving will stop when loosing hand.

F6 Switch F1-F5 function

F1 “Add”: add a hole

“Divide”: add hole between two holes

F2 “Modification”: to modify hole data

“Copy”: to copy holes within appointed range

F3 “Delete”: to delete current hole data

“Translation”: refers to holes within appointed range

F4 “Insert”: to insert a hole before current hole

“Edit”: to edit hole data by number keys directly

F5 “Locating”: choose holes quantity to be moved to

“Hand wheel”: to start adjustment box

3.Parameters page

Press [parameter] key and input password (654321), and then enter following interface.

To choose the parameter to be modified by press up/down arrow; to modify parameter by

press number keys, and the parameter modification will come into effect after pressing [confirm]; to cancel the input numbers by pressing [cancel]

To choose different axis by F1-F5, and choose system parameter by F6. Please refer following contents for specific meaning of the parameters

4.Diagnose page

To press [diagnose] key to enter following page.

This page is mainly used to test if external input/output is normal. F1, F2 for choosing input, output As showed in following output page. Whether output is normal or not can be tested by number keys 0-9.

5.Products selecting page Press [F4] key (product) in main page to enter following page:

Page instructions:

1) Total models of products: refers to total quantity of products saved in controller.

2) Hole number of current product: to display the hole number of the product at inverse position, for reference use.

To choose exist products by pressing up/down/left/right cursor key, and press [confirm] to choose and return to main page.

Users can press [previous hole] and [next hole] to turn page when total models exceed 32.

To create a new model by pressing [F1] (create)

To delete current products at inverse side by pressing [F2] (delete)

To copy current machining file by pressing [F3] (copy)

To come into U-disc operation function by pressing [F4] (U-disc management)

To emulate controller to be a U-disc by pressing [F5] (USB communication)

To return to main page by pressing [F6] (exit)

Note:

1. The first file displayed in the menu is current machining file.

2. Current machining file cannot be deleted.

3. For copying action it is to copy current machining file but not to copy products at inverse side.

Operation instructions

1.adding a new product a)Start the machine and enter main page. as following

b)Press [F5], the machine will return to 0 position; “return to zero finished” is showed in the page.

c)Press [F4] (product) to enter product page as following;

d)press [F1] create a new product and input the name of product; press [confirm] and return to

main page automatically if it don’t appear wrong.

c)Press [adjustment] key to enter adjustment page;

d)press [F1]key continuously and add data, until need the hole number, if the total hole member is 40, it should add to the hole number 40 and showing 41 on the scream , because it is including 0 hole , as following picture

e)Press [F6] key ,the next can change, then press [F4]key enter editing mode, as following picture

f)Press [X+] until moving to the first hole position, as following picture

g)Using 0-9 、+/- and radix point key , according to measured X、Y axis data input, the data of Z axis should be input according to factual measured data , after finishing the input , press [F6] key returned to adjustment page, then press [page] returned to main page h)Data is auto saved , it don’t need do other operation , there isn’t used the data of 0 point

2. Translate and Modification a)On the main page, Press [F6] , the machine return to initial point first, then move to hole 1 position, In fact the current position is different from real hole position b)Press [adjustment] key to enter adjustment page, as following

c)Press [X+][X-][Y+][Y-] key, make the machine aiming at the first hole position, press [F6] choice next column, and press [F3] key choice translate function, input hole number as following picture(the hole number should be the last hole numberr, also, total hole quantity minus 1 )

d)press [confirm] and finished the data modification, all the data equal change

e)Press [page]key, retured to main page, press [F6] retured to the 1 hole position , it can starting to process f)If position still have warp, please press[F6] and return to the first point position again, and it is translate from the second step again

Note:

1) starting to process, if it don’t press [F6] and return to the 1 hole position, it can’t enter adjustment page.

2) the data of hole cann’t be modify directly, it must use translate method

Parameters instruction

1.Parameters for each axis Parameters meaning for 4 axis are the same. a) Pulse for each turn: refers to how much pulse need by motor to rotate one turn. Abouting your company, X、Y、A axis should be set as 1000, Z axis can be 100 b) The screw pitch of screw mandrel: refers to the screw pitch of screw mandrel used

on X, Y table. Z、A axis doesn’t have specific meaning. Note: above mentioned two parameters were set, please don’t modify , or else, the initialal product data can’t be used

c) Starting speed: it can be set as 10-15 times screw pitch, because of adopting servo,i.e. 100-150 The bigger the value is, the quicker the processing product in per minute. but it is

easy to cause more shake for motor if the value is too high. It should choose appropriate value d) Actuating speed: it can be set as 20-25 times screw pitch, because of adopting

servo i.e. 200-250 e) Accelerated speed: normally it is better to set it at 50

f) Leapfrogging distance:not being used, it can be set as 1000 g) Speed of returning to zero: the speed of returning to zero point can be set as 20 h) Adjustment on quick speed: refers to manual speed of switching from adjustment

status to be quick and can be set as 20 i) Adjustment on slow speed: refers to manual speed of switching from adjustment

status to be slow and can be set as 5

2. System parameters

a) Off time for backlight: to prolong the lifecycle of the LCD, set the time duration for shutting off the backlight if there is no actions on keys. To set it as 0 means let it on all the time.

b) maxmal value of X axis , the minimal value of X axis, The maxmal value of Y axis , the minimal

value of Y axis, The maxmal value of Z axis , the minimal value of Z axis can be used to setting limitation

Installing and debugging

1. Start the machine and enter main page

2. Press [diagnose] key and enter test page, checking whether the input signal is normal.

X limitation,Y limitation,Z limitation isn’t used normally

The standby of the operation box isn’t used

The all input of adjustment box isn’t equal used, and don’t check.

3. Press [F2] enter output testing page

4. Testing all output point,it can press relevant key

5. Confirming all input/output signal is normal, press [page] key return to main page, under the information intem shouldn’t show any alarm information

6. Press [Parameter] key, then press”654321” , it can enter parameter page

7. According to the data of parameter introduction , the maxmal value of every axis don’t set

8. After confirming parameter is right ,press [adjustment] key enter adjustment page

9. Press [X-] key ,if the X axis run turnnig to initial, Press [X+] key , wherth the X axis run contrary , if it is contrary,please modify parameter and make it right, if it run one direction ,please check the outer connection and the paremeter set of servo

10. Y、Z axis are same as above mentioned ,press [Y-][Z-] run turnnig to initial ,press [Y+][Z+] run contrary

11. Press [A+][A-] key , A axis will move in positive and negative

12. Above mentioned operation is normal , press [page] key return to main page, then Press [F5], the machine will return to 0 position,then return back a litter and continued return to 0 position,if it is normal, “return to zero finished” is showed “” on the information columns, if it isn’ t finished , please checking wherth parameters are set correctly, if the motion direction of servo-actuator motor is right, wherth initial point switch can detect out that.

13. Return to zero point is normal , press [adjustment] to enter the page, press[X+]key , until close to anode position, write down the current position of Xaxis, the value is used to setting the maximal value of X axis

14. Then press [X-]key , until close to cathode position, and write down the current position of Xaxis, the value is used to setting the minimum value of X axis

15. Same as above mentioned method , the maximal and minimum value of Y、Z can be set

16. After finishing above mentioned operation , it can add new product
