Carefully mix your plaster ‘casting
investment
Pour into your mould slowly
Tap for air bubbles 1 hour
to set
Building the tree
KILN TIME...
8 hours kiln time...
2 hours – 149 degrees C2 hours – 371 degrees C3 hours – 732 degrees C1 hour – casting time
THE FUN BEGINS...
Heat up the bronze
Put in the plaster cast
Spin baby spin
An interesting chemical
reaction when the plaster hits
the water it disintegrates.
TIME TO TAKE THEM OFF THE MOULD...
CLEAN UP TIME...
They have now been sand blasted and need a good clean up with a dremel and polisher
