The Broncos’ 2013 Season In 2013, the Denver Broncos enjoyed a highly

successful season, culminating in the AFC championship. They played their first regular-season game against the Baltimore Ravens, who had won the Super Bowl the previous year after an upset victory against the Broncos in the playoffs. Thanks to seven touchdown passes from Peyton Manning, the Broncos won 49 to 27. Their 6-0 winning streak at the beginning of the season ended with a loss to the Indianapolis Colts, despite Manning’s 386 passing yards.

Conclusion In the playoffs, the Broncos fended off a strong

challenge from the Chargers to move into the AFC championship game, where they overcame the New England Patriots. In the Super Bowl, however, the Broncos repeatedly failed to overcome the Seattle Seahawks’ top-ranked defense, falling to a score of 29 to 0 at the end of the first half and ultimately losing 43 to 8. Nevertheless, the season marked the Broncos’ seventh AFC championship, with several records set by Manning and other players on the team.
