Dear Members and Friends,

It is with distinct privilege and pride that I welcome everyone to the 150th Anniversary Year of the Delaware State Dental Society. The DSDS has planned a year-long series of scientific programs, charity events, and social celebrations to commemorate this great milestone.

From our inception in 1863, the Delaware State Dental Society’s core values were to provide exceptional educational programming and professional benefits to our members, with the belief that this process was essential to the progressive growth of the dental profession in Delaware. It was our founder’s sincerest beliefs that this growth and advancement would translate into high quality oral health care to the citizens of our great state. One hundred and fifty years later, I firmly believe that the DSDS has maintained those core values and has helped the citizens of Delaware receive the nation’s premiere dental care. As such, this diverse series of programs and events that have been scheduled for this year remain true to those very core values of our founders.

I would like to personally thank the 150th anniversary committee for all of their efforts in designing and planning the events for this special year. Their pride and dedication to make this a once in a lifetime year is greatly appreciated.
