Electrostatic liquid applicationWAGNER’s electrostatic atomization processes are highly economical coating systems, oering decisive advantages over conventional application techniques in many areas of industry.

Innovative technology for any applicationWhether it’s a “manual operation” or a process controlled automatic application – WAGNER oers the right electro-static gun for every material and every application.

High surface qualityDue to the electrostatic charge (max. 80 kV), the paint particles repel each other to produce an extremely ne atomization. The uniform spray jet generates a very homogeneous material application with an even coating, resulting in a particularly high quality nish.

Ecient coatingThe wrap-around eect results from a force eld between the negatively charged paint particles and the grounded work piece. Both the front and rear of the work piece can thus be coated at the same time – with enormous savings in material and time.

Reduction in waste disposal costsDue to the reduction in overspray, the spray booths need to be cleaned less often. This protects people and the environ-ment and reduces waste disposal costs.

Higher performanceTo achieve maximum wrap-around and optimum applica-tion eciency, WAGNER electrostatic guns operate at a very high level of performance. Agro & Industrial Representations

AirCoat atomization: Better performance – less environmental pollution

Typical for the AirCoat process is its distinctly lower paint pressure compared to the Airless process, and the particu-larly soft and homogeneous spray jet due to the feed of additional atomizing air. This is provided by the central air feed (air cap) located immediately adjacent to the nozzle hole and that surrounds the sprayed medium like a sheath. Additional advantages are its high coating speed and low overspray. Benets at a glance:

Excellent surface nish High coating speed Reduction in overspray Uniform application of paint material Soft spray jet with soft run-out at the edges Can also be used for high viscosity materials Reduction in emissions in accordance with the VOC

guidelines for liquid organic compounds

Air atomization:Excellent surface quality – universally usable

The conventional air atomizing process is the classical meth-od of atomizing paints. This type of application meets the highest demands for surface quality and nish. Its universal range of application in industry and for special applications is what makes this tried-and-tested technology such a success. The central feature of this process is that the paint is atomized by air. The atomizing air ows out through an circular opening in the air cap and can be shaped from a round jet to a at jet by means of the fan control. Benets at a glance:

Superb surface quality and excellent surface nish Universally usable Simple to handle Reduction in emissions in accordance with the VOC

Comply more easily with the VOC guideline by switching to more environmentally friendly water-based paints.

With the new AquaCoat® system, WAGNER has developed a system, which with its sophisticated technology and exten-sive combination of safety precautions oers optimal pro-tection for the user.

High level of safety The central control unit regulates and controls all

functions of the AquaCoat® system. During application, access to the interior of the device

is blocked mechanically. The most important safety systems are present in

duplicate, thus eliminating a source of danger to the user.

Easy to use A hose and gun holder on the outside of the AquaCoat®

protects the hose package and the gun against soiling and damage.

The large front opening enables easy access to the paint supply and quick color changing.

The recesses for fork lift and the optional chassis simplify handling.

Easy maintenance The central fastening mechanism for the gun and hose

package enables them to be changed quickly, keeping downtimes short.

An insert tank simplies cleaning of the interior. High process reliability

The supply capacity of up to 60 l of material reduces downtime and increases productivity.

Automatic ll level monitor. Constant stirring of the material ensures high surface

quality.

Areas of application Metal processing:

Vehicle manufacture, railway car manufacture, agricultural and construction machinery, corrosion protection, machine and facility construction.

Wood processing: Window manufacture and furniture industry.

Glass, aluminum, gray iron and plastics Application of release agents

Individually tailored to meet customer needs in the processing of water-based paints If you need large paint volumes, e.g. from 200 l vats, if you need to use several colors simultaneously or if you need a mixing and dosing system for processing 2K or 3K paints, then a system can be planned to meet your specic requirements.

As a system partner of industry in surface technology, even larger systems can be implemented easily with the AquaCoat® technology.

When implementing customized solutions, we focus on safety and process reliability, ease of operation and mainte-nance, and the optimal use of all components.

Planned systems are made to suit all customer needs and requirements, be it in terms of intelligent design, a modular structure, or clear and user-friendly handling. All functions are controlled centrally and checked and documented with the help of the most up-to-date technology.

In order to nd the perfect solution for you, please contact your WAGNER sales engineer. He will provide expert advice and, together with our project engineers, nd a solution that will suit your needs and requirements.
