The ALM is the NEW Generation high performance line-throwing appliance specificallydesigned to deploy a line only, a grappling hook and climbing line, or a grappling hookand ascending ladder to an otherwise inaccessible point in bot h land-based and surfaceand subsurface maritime environments.

Utili zing a patented air-thrust technology,the ALM is non-pyrotechnic,r e-usable,and r e-fillable.

Launcher Assembly housings are cast f rom 6AL-4V Titanium for best weight/str ength ratio,and

are iner t to seawater and have a lifet ime guarantee against all hazards.

4500 psi / 300 Bar service pressure Titanium projectile.

3000 psi / 207 Bar service pressure Aluminum projectile.

ulti-Shot Capacity. Our patented nozzle-valve permits any number ofojectiles to be precharged and stored with t he unit, allowing deployment ofultiple projectiles in rapid succession.

The safety mechanism is "always on," re-sett ing automatically when a project ile isinserted.

A pressure relief burst disk prevents unsafe pressure build-up that could resultfrom exposure to extreme heat.

Each launcher is fitted with a luminous pressure gauge for close visibility at night.

The projectil e's "Push-Cli ck" engagement allows easy reloading,even in the dark.

MAXim um Distancehe ALM is capable of deploying a 3,200lb test strength line horizontally up to 330et / 100 meters. The ALM can deploy a 7.0mm climbing line with Climbingrappling Hook vert ically up to 130 feet / 40 meters. A 50ft / 15m Ascendingadder and Climbing Grappling Hook can be fully deployed by the ALM.

Line ProjectileThe line projectile will deploy a

variety of line only over a rangeof distances,depending on theservice pressure and the type ofline used.

A fixed hook with three non-barbed tines is fabricated from

tit anium. Closed-cellelastomeric nitrile rubbercladding (not shown for clarity)is included -- to reducesignature noise.This hook is

certified for climbing.

Ascending LadderLightweight and durable! Constructedof nylon webbing with injectionmolded elastomer rungs at 12 in / 30cm o.c.,t his ladder is available in 40ft /

12m or 50 ft / 15 m lengths that canbe fully deployed vert ically. Sidemembers have a combined breakingstrength o f 7,500 lbs / 3,400 kg.

The ALM - T and ALM - T - HP series were designed to suit the missions of moder n day Tactical &

Special Forces units - for use in applications which may include severe exposure to marineenvironments, including submersion in seawater - such as sub-surface movements of swimmers,as wellas for l and-based and surface based marit ime environments.

Each launcher housing is cast from Grade IV Titanium,and each launcher mechanism is machined from

Ti 6AL-4V Titanium.Titanium is inert to seawater.

The ALM - T projectiles are made from 6061-T6 heat t reated aluminum, wit h a service pressure of3,000 psi./ 207 Bar.

The ALM - T - HP series is designed for the same applications as the ALM - T, but o ffers higherperfor mance,operating at higher service pressure.The projectiles are made from Ti 6AL-4V heat t reated tit anium, with a service pressure of 4,500 psi. / 300 Bar.
