Our services include: Cusco 4 days / 3 nights ITINERARY Day 01: Cusco City Tour Arrival in Cusco, pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the morning you are free to rest and adjust to the altitude. In the afternoon, we will visit the city of Cusco, the spiritual center and ancient capital of the Incas. We will start our tour visiting the Qorikancha or Golden Temple, considered the Incas’ most important religious center. Next, we will visit the impressive city of Cusco, built on top of the foundations of Inca palaces. We will visit the Plaza de Armas, the Cusco Cathedral and other landmarks. Later on, we will board our bus to visit four archaeological centers located near the city: Sacsayhuaman, Qenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Day 02: Full Day Machu Picchu You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the train station. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our staff that will help you board the bus that will take you to the Historical Sanctuary of Machu Picchu in approximately 25 minutes. The tour will be led by a guide who enhances the “live” briefings with stories set to music, sound effects and tales that will titillate your senses. At the end of the tour, you will have the option to remain in Machu Picchu for a while or board the return bus that will take you back to Machu Picchu Pueblo to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. At the scheduled time, you will board the return train to the city of Cusco. Pick up at the train station and transfer to your hotel. Day 03: Full Day Sacred Valley We start our tour to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Our first stop will be at a Textile Center where we will see a demonstration of textile arts in its most natural expression. We will also get to see some native animals of Peru, some of them in danger of extinction. Next, we will go to the Pisac Archaeological Complex. We will visit the lower part of the complex, where the agricultural area and the pre-Hispanic cemetery (the largest in America) are located. We will also visit the artisan market and continue to the Valley of Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch. Later on, we will go to the town of Ollantaytambo and visit the Archaeological Complex. As we return to the city of the Cusco we will visit the town of Chinchero, famous by its handmade textiles. Day 04: Free day Pick up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the airport.
