Other FMC Peroxygen Chemicals

In addition to hydrogen peroxide, the PeroxygenChemicals Division of FMC also manufacturesPermeOx®, solid peroxygens, calcium peroxide, per-acetic acid, and potassium, sodium and ammoniumpersulfates. In addition, sodium perborate is availablethrough our affiliate in Spain.

These peroxides find applications in such diverse envi-ronmental areas as acid mine drainage treatment, den-sification and deodorization of sludge, bioenhance-ment and control of microorganisms.

Other FMC Chemicals

FMC also supplies a diverse range of other chemicalsthat are used in environmental applications.

The Alkali Chemicals Division supplies sodium bicar-bonate, sodium carbonate and sodium sesquicarbon-ate for flue gas desulfurization and general water treat-ment, including acid mine drainage neutralizations,metal removal in wastewater and pH adjustment.
