ABOUT THE INSTITUTE OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON VEDAS (I-SERVE)
RESEARCH PROJECT UNDERTAKEN BY I-SERVE DELHI CHAPTER
EXHIBITION OBJECTIVES
I-SERVE was established in 2004 under the patronage of Shri R. Venkataraman, former President of India, with Shri K V Krishnamurty as its Chairman. Its main objectives are:
For last more than six years I-SERVE has been working on the research project titled Scientific Dating of Ancient Events from Rigveda to Aryabhatiam. First seminar, covering Rigvedic and Ramayan eras, with the title,
was organized in Delhi on 30-31 July, 2011. The inaugural address was delivered by late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who has been the source of inspiration behind this research.
Thereafter the book titled, was published.
Second International Seminar with the theme, was held on 23 - 24 February, 2014 in
Delhi, for which inaugural address was delivered by hon'ble Dr. Karan Singh ji.
The latest scientific research reports have proved that indigenous civilisation has been developing in India for last 10,000 years. Vedas contain references of the sky views which could be observed around 9000 - 8000 years back, whereas Ramayana refers to the sky views seen sequentially around 7000 years back.
Ÿ To establish synergy between the scientific wisdom of ancient India and modern scientific inventions.
Ÿ To decipher scientific knowledge from Vedic and post Vedic literature to facilitate development of nature-friendly technologies in the fields of agriculture, energy and medicine.
Ÿ To carry out research into the authenticity and historicity of ancient events, by making use of modern scientific tools, which could provide common memories to different communities in India for developing a sense of shared pride in our rich heritage.
"Scientific Dating of Ancient Events before 2000 BC……"
“Historicity of Vedic and Ramayan Eras: Scientific Evidences from the Depths of Oceans to the Heights of Skies”
“Determining cultural continuity since Vedic and Epic Eras”,
The world has come a long way after the 19th century belief, persisting till date, that the Aryans invaded India in 1500 BC; they pushed the uncivilised north Indians toward south, turning them into Dravidians and became instrumental in quickly developing the civilization in the Indian sub continent.

PROGRAMME DETAILS
Through this exhibition we reconstruct before you the true history of ancient India based on such scientific evidences. You get an opportunity to hear our most beloved former President, late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, talking about such indigenous development of civilisation, relating the Ramayana references to 7000 BP and extolling the achievements of India in remote ancient past!
Those of Mahabharata could be observed around 5000 BP. These dates have been supported by archaeological, anthropological, paleobotanical, geological, ecological, oceanographic and remote sensing evidences.
INAUGURATION on 17.9.2015 at 5:00 PM – Walk through the exhibition, followed by Inaugural address by Dr. Sonal Mansingh and presidential address by Dr. Mahesh Sharma in Meghdoot – IV, Rabindra Bhawan.
Quiz programs at 11:30 AM and Interactive sessions at 5:00 PM every day on 18 – 23 September, 2015.
Oblige us with your presence at Inauguration. A visit will surely increase your pride in the antiquity and richness of India's true cultural heritage!
First few exhibits provide glimpses of the background and theme of this exhibition. Thereafter you will see the extracts from Rigveda containing astronomical references along with sky views, generated by using planetarium software.
We cordially invite you to minutely observe the sky view at the time of birth of Lord Ram in 5114 BC, matching exactly the description given in Valmiki Ramayan.
Thereafter, you may move on to the skyviews generated by using Planetarium software which match the references in Mahabharata sequentially right from the date of departure of Pandvas for thirteen years of Exile after they lost everything in the game of Dice in 3153 BC to the solar eclipse seen from Dwarka 36 years after Mahabharata war.
Sky view at the time of birth of Shri Ram o oAyodhya, 28 N.82 E;

Sun in Aries, Venus in Pisces, Mars in Capricornus and Saturn in Libra
THEME OF THE EXHIBITION“CULTURAL CONTINUITY FROM RIGVEDA TO ROBOTICS”
This exhibition will provide you the opportunity to see all these sky views sequentially, including the ones on the date of Mahabharata war and at the time of Bhishma's demise in 3139 BC. Also see the much talked about Kali era conjunction.
All subsequent sky observations of important events in the life of Lord Ram reveal perfect chronological matching.
We hope you will enjoy looking at some rare pictures of Ramsetu with proof that it was at the walkable level around 7000 years ago. Have a look at the list of Suryavanshi rulers, containing names of 63 predecessors and 59 successors of Lord Ram! What have the genetic studies got to say?
You are invited to have a walk through more than 150 places visited by Shri Ram during his exile. Look at the picture of Kutumsar caves in Dandak vana; the carbon dating of grains found from there considers these grains as 7000 years old!

These astronomical dates of references in Rigveda, Ramayana and Mahabharata are corroborated by oceanographic, archaeological, geological , remote sensing, paleobotanical, ecological and anthropological evidences. Various exhibits displayed provide pictorial glimpse of such scientific evidences.
I-SERVE has displayed for you very exhaustive details of archaeological excavations carried out in Indus, Saraswati and Ganga regions. Have a close look at the excavated artefacts, including jewellery, utensils, weapons, grains and terracotta etc., dated as belonging to 9000 BP to 5000 BP.
The resemblance of these artefacts with modern day articles is striking; revealing the continuity of our culture till date!
Earliest evidence of dentistry at Mehrgarh. A total of 9 individuals had one or more cases of teeth drilled in vivo, 7000 BC; displayed along with a group of chert drill heads
found on the floor of a Neolithic house at Mehrgarh.
Copper arrowhead; Lahuradeva, 5000BC
Beads ornaments;Rakhigarhi, 4000 BC
Kamarbandh; Mehrgarh, 7000-5500 BC
The exhibits include some rare pictures of artefacts excavated from Mehrgarh in Indus region dated as belonging to 7000-5500 BC.
See also pictures of artefacts excavated from Bhirrana, Rakhigarhi and Kunal in Saraswati region with carbon dating of 7000-4000 BC.
We display for you pictures of 7000 years old copper arrow heads, cultivated rice, wheat, lentils etc. excavated from Lahuradeva in middle Ganga plains.
There are striking similarities of culture in all the three regions and right from 7000 BC to 3000 BC. The same culture has been developing till date, evolving and changing with time.
In Rigveda, Saraswati is described as Ambitame, Naditame and Devitame [2:41:16]; the mightiest river, “Seven sistered, sprung from three-fold sources” [6:61:10-12]. By Mahabharat time, it becomes non-perennial.
In fact due to tectonic movement Sutlej diverted to join Indus through Beas and Yamuna migrated eastward to join Ganga. We take you through the eventful journey of remote past revealing how and when Ganga became the most venerated holy river of India in place of Saraswati!
Remote sensing images taken by NASA and ISRO have provided supporting scientific evidences about the flow, migration and disappearance of Saraswati River System. These are further corroborated by geological, archaeological and hydrological evidences.
Exhibits will display how the mythology and science behind the story of origin of Ganga are intertwined in the same verses by Aadi Kavi Valmiki ji. For those who are looking for divine explanation - Ganga descended from heavens, got entangled in Jata-joot of Lord
Our recommendation is that view the contents of each exhibit carefully, move sequentially and do not miss any exhibits. We sincerely believe that by the time you reach the last exhibit, the true history of ancient India would stand revealed. All exhibits have been explained in English as well as in Hindi.
ISRO - REMOTE SENSING IMAGE; Saraswati river system (shown in Blue) was
surrounded on one side by Ganga and its tributaries and on the other side by
Indus River System.
VEDIC CULTURE CONTINUES; ADAPTING AND CHANGING WITH TIMES BUT PRESERVING THE CORE VALUES
Mohenjodaro seal
There has been a constant development of civilization and culture in Indian sub continent for more than 10000 years.
Vedas represent the compilation of knowledge, whereas Ramayana and Mahabharata reveal the true history of ancient India.
Shiva and then came to earth. For those who are looking for rational and scientific interpretation, Ganga (Bhagirthi) descended from Shivalinga peaks, meandered through Gangotri Glaciers and flowed through the plains of northern India, right upto Rasatal (Sea).
Harappa-Terracotta Figure
There was not any Aryan invasion 3500 years ago. In fact Vedic Aryans from India have been travelling to other countries of the world since 8000 BP for trade and for disseminating knowledge.
Vedic culture provided the foundation on which the superstructure of Indian civilization is being laid till date. It is like its nurturer, river Saraswati, whose presence is seen and felt but it has become fashionable to deny its existence.
‘Swastika’ and ‘Om’ are still sacred and Indians still greet with folded hands.
Let us dedicate ourselves to scientific reconstruction of our remote past and generate shared pride amongst all Indians in the achievements of ancient India! In the words of late Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, “In India the core culture goes beyond time. It precedes the arrival of Islam; it precedes the arrival of Christianity…….It is when we accept India in all its splendid glory that, with a shared past as a base, we can look forward to a shared future of peace and prosperity, of creation and abundance.” Mohenjodaro-Seal
Before leaving please remember to record your observations and suggestions in the register for our guidance in future. Team I-SERVE is at your service, willing to answer all your queries.
