Steps to designing a brochure:
Clearly define its purpose
Develop an organizing concept
Write the content
Design the presentation of information
Produce the brochure
Distribute the brochure
Reduce the purpose to a single idea

Organize words, visuals, colors to effectively design the space to capture and hold the attention of your special publics.

Avoid puffery
Validity—stand on accuracy

Give air to long copy blocks
Put twice the space above a subhead as below it
Avoid uneven left margins
Don’t tilt type at odd angles
Don’t run type vertically
Avoid sans serif faces for text
Don’t wrap text around odd shapes.
