3600 MT. Spread over an area of 7 acres, it is

situated in the National Capital Region (NCR), about

7 km away from New Delhi.

Our Product Range finds an application in a wide

range of industries such as in Oilfields, Power Plants,

Defense, Atomic Energy, Space Research, Railways,

Automobiles and Construction. Our manufacturing

facility & capability allows us to produce profile

forgings up to 25 kg and round/hollow forgings

up to 100 kg of almost any material with a high

degree of dimensional accuracy, smooth grain flow

& good surface finish. All forging dies are made only

on automated VMC machines to bring this to effect.

Our standard steels include carbon & stainless

steels, but over the last decade we have developed

expertise in forging Super Duplex steels and

Special Alloy steels that are known for their

corrosion resistance and versatility.

Forged pieces are stronger than an

equivalent casting or machined part. No

other metalworking process can equal forging in

its ability to develop the optimum combination of

properties.

WHY USE FORGINGS?

In simple terms, forging is the process of

forming and shaping metals through the use

of hammering, pressing or rolling. Forging is

often classified according to the temperature at

which it is performed: ‘cold’ or ‘hot’ forging.

Open die forging involves the shaping of

heated metal parts between a top die attached to

a ram and a bottom die attached to a hammer

anvil or press bed. Metal parts are worked above

their re-crystallization temperatures ranging

from 1900°F to 2400°F for steel and gradually

shaped into the desired configuration through

the skillful hammering or pressing of the work

piece.

The forging process has the ability to form the

material to the desired component shape, while

refining the cast structure of the ingot

material, healing shrinkage voids, and

improving the mechanical properties of the

material. Forging also provides means for

aligning the grain flow to best obtain desired

VALUE SYSTEM

Our manufacturing capabilities allow us to produce profile forgings upto 25 kg

and round/hollow forgings upto 100 kg of almost any material.

GATE AND GLOBE VALVES

AFPL manufactures high quality Gate & Globe valve

forgings that come in a set of 2 pieces (Body + Bonnet)

with sizes ranging from ½” (15mm) to 2” (50mm).

Common standard applied is API-602, wherein a

maximum pressure rating of class 2500 can be

achieved.

BALL VALVES

Ball Valve forgings come in a set of 3 pieces

(Body + 2 no’s connectors) with sizes ranging from

½” (15mm) to 2” (50mm).

ELBOW & TEE

AFPL produces Elbow & Tee sets in sizes ranging from

½” (15mm) to 2” (50mm). Common standard applied

is ASME B16.11, wherein a maximum pressure rating of

class 6000 can be achieved. Elbow & Tee sets may be

supplied in fully finished & machined condition.

FLANGES

AFPL manufactures a wide range of flanges, including

WNRF, SORF, SCRD, BLRF, SWRF, RTJ, Lap Joint, and

Tounge & Groove Flanges etc. Sizes range from NPS

½” till 10”. Sizes beyond 10” upto 24” can also be

provided on request.

COVER PLATES

Cover Plates have a wide range of application. We

manufacture forged cover plates with a high degree of

dimensional accuracy. Common sizes produced are

100mm, 190mm, 250mm, 280mm, 320mm & 340mm.

AUTOMOBILE PARTS

For the Automobile Industry, our product range includes

Nuts, Coupler Balls, Gears, Connecting Rods, Swivels,

Pins, Yokes, Cam Shafts, Axles, Crank Shafts, Shifter

Fork, Pinion, Crown Wheels, Couplings, Hooks amongst
