Join us Thursday evening as we celebrate the end of VBS with a Family Fun Luau (details to follow).VBS is for graduates of 3K (your child must have turned 3 before September 1, 2016) through graduates of 6th Grade. Registration forms are available online at www.stphilipschurchsc.org/vbs-2017. The fee for the week of VBS is $25 per child.A VBS of this awesomeness will require many helpers before, dur-ing and after the event. Whether you have a special skill or talent, simply have a heart for children’s ministry or are just willing to do whatever is it takes to get the job done… we need you! A nursery for ages 3 and under will be available for volunteers and staff.Surf Shack: Catch the Wave of God’s Amazing Love is a VBS program that combines a colorful surf/beach theme with a solid theological background that emphasizes love, grace and God’s continuous presence. The Annual Feast Day mission team is asking the parishioners of St. Philip's for donations of several items to be taken to Haiti for use in the church and for teaching:

• New or gently used wind, string or keyboard instruments. Help the children make a joyful noise unto the Lord!• Reading glasses from Dollar Stores (1.50 - 2.25 sight rating is the most common need).• General dental supplies-adult and children's toothbrushes, toothpaste, and dental floss.

Items can be dropped off in the church office or we will pick them up. Financial dona-tions for these items are also welcome.

St. Philip's is the sole supply source for our sister church community, and these dona-tions are hand-delivered each year by the mission team. We thank you in advance for your kind and generous donations for these basic needs.
