Who sells SAN?80% of Brocade SAN products are sold through major Storage and Server providers. Brocade business model is not to sell direct. Distributors account for 20%.

Why sell SAN?• Selling SAN & Storage can increase your deal size by 50% (TBV). • Customer prefer a single vendor to purchase their server, network and storage. • It simplifies the ordering process, and provides customer stronger discounts. • The customer will then have a single vendor to call for service and support.• SAN increases your account control, as all new server and storage opprotnities will touch a SAN. • A Brocade SAN blocks another route for Cisco taking control at your account• Competition will lead with server, network, and storage quotes.

When to sell SAN?A SAN is typically sold when customer is buying or consolidating their storage arrays. Additionally, SAN is also sold for customers are adding servers into their datacenter, that will connect to their existing SANs. Customers will also, consolidate and refresh the SAN products that are going End of Life/Support.
