Build Aliyun ECS (Elastic Compute Service) for M4

For Debian 9.10/9.12 V1.3 Date20200528

1. Buy the ECS from Aliyun

A. Click https://www.aliyun.com, sign in and verify your account.

B. Buy Server ECS:

a. Enter into Menu Product--Elastic Computing--Elastic Compute Service

b. Creat Instance

c. Billing Method, Select your location, Here we seleced Subscrition & India (Mumbai)

d. Set the corresponding basic configuration

Note: Public Image: Select Debian 9.12 64bit

e. Click and choose the needed network(different regions may have difference), see large photo ECS2,

f. Click ,

Select Password as Log on Credentials, input the login password. Please keep note of your password, it will be needed for install the M4 server.

e. Click Next, agree the service agreement and create your order& pay your bill. Note: Both cost for server and traffic will be calculated.

g. Security Group configuration

Add Security Group Rules for the M4 – See detailed photos of 9-1 Security Group configuration, also you can switch to the Old Version to

2. Cloud Server Installation

a. Login to the ECS by PuTTY, or by web – see photo 10 ECS-VNC.png-and run the command,

wget http://dl.minemedia.tv/M4S/9.1x/debian9.1x.sh -O debian9.1x.sh && chmod +x debian9.1x.sh && ./debian9.1x.sh

The IP is your ECS IP, port 22, and username is root, Password is Log on Credentials we settled when we bought server.

Below information means the M4 bonding server installed, reboot the server by reboot command

Then reconnect it again to check the system version, pls ensure as below screen shows, means success Linux ip-172-31-52-2

3. M4 Router Setup

a. Management URL is http://192.168.11.1, default password is admin, Mwan Server is the ECS IP, port, password as we

settled on Alibaba ECS, here Mwan Server is your ECS IP (Internet) which we bought, others keep same as the

screenshot’s.

When all settled, the SIM card still can’t get network, maybe you need to setup the APN per your SIM provider,
