The new Brio Weatherfold 4s exterior folding door system opens up the entire opening.The optional integrated Brio 612 Retractable Pleated Insect Screen keeps insects away and, as shown, retracts out of viewwhenever you choose.

Brio is proud of its strong heritage with the Weatherfold brand of exterior folding window and door hardware. In Australia, where the product was designed, Brio Weatherfold is used by the major window and door manufacturers. Brio works closely with these companies, developing innovative solutions that form an integral part of the manufacturers’ systems used in residential and commercial applications.

Making efficient use of space with style is essential, and there is no better way to achieve this than with the new Brio Weatherfold 4s hardware system.

Now in its 4th generation, Brio Weatherfold 4s is a total architectural hardware solution that includes pivot sets, hanger sets, hinge sets, top track, bottom channel, locking and flush bolt options. The optional integrated Brio 612 Retractable Pleated Insect Screen keeps out insects without compromising the view.

The Brio Weatherfold 4s system is suitable for aluminum, wood and PVC doors and comes in 4 panel weight capacities:

• 110lbs (50kg)

• 165lbs (75kg)

• 220lbs (100kg)

• 330lbs (150kg)

Brio Weatherfold 4s has inward or outward opening functionality and spans up to 13’1” (4m) high and 64’3” (19.6m) wide - suitable for up to 8 equal size panels folding in each direction.

Previously, insect screening was limited to narrow openings. But now the Brio 612 Screen has changed the possibilities, with the capability to cover large openings; making it one of the largest single action products of its type in the world. A single Brio 612 Screen can span widths up to 14’9” (4.5m). Two meeting Brio 612 Screens can span up to 29’6” (9m). The Brio 612 Screen is surface mounted to the jamb and only 1.2” (30mm) deep.

The Brio 612 Screen is independent of any particular window or door system. This enables it to be used in a multitude of applications including Folding Doors, Sliding Doors, French Doors and many windows. It is designed to be integrated into windows and doors making the unit discreet in appearance and operation. The Brio 612 Screen is tailor made to integrate seamlessly into Brio’s Weatherfold exterior systems, and Brio’s Single Run and Timberoll sliding door systems.

To ensure the highest level of quality is maintained for our customers, Brio 612 Screens are manufactured in house. Brio’s significant investment into purpose built robotic equipment provides exceptional quality control. You can rely on the responsiveness of the Brio team for delivery of your screens.

Brio Flush Bolts are a stylish locking solution. They feature a low profi le design that minimizes the depth of the rebate and retains the strength of the wood. Brio Flush Bolts come in a range of lengths from 7.48” (190mm) to 35.43” (900mm). The range of Brio Flush Bolts suits both inward and outward opening Folding Doors, French Doors and Sliding Door applications.

In 1995 RMD Industries acquired the company, adding signifi cant investment and corporate strength. After 16 years, RMD Industries remains the committed owner of Brio and continues to invest heavily in the growing business. RMD Industries hasa track record stretching back to 1954 and includes the Downee and Pratco businesses. Downee is the leading supplier to the fence, gate fi ttings and door/gate automation in Australia. Pratco is Australia’s leading manufacturer and supplier of Grass Care and Sugar Cane Harvesting Blades.

The company has continued to invest heavily in research and development, designing and launching market leading innovation.

In 2009 as part of the rebranding of all RMD Industries businesses, the Brio brand was born. The Brio brand name was selected to more accurately refl ect the rapidly growing business, a name that translates to Energy, Spirit and Vitality - the core values that drive us to always discover new solutions for our customers.

In 2010 Brio opened a subsidiary in the UK, basedin Newcastle Upon Tyne.
