Victoria’s Big Build – transforming road and rail travelNorth East Link is part of more than $18 billion being invested into major road and rail projects in Melbourne’s north and north east.

These projects will work together to reduce congestion, cut travel times and provide more trains more often.

The biggest ever investment in Melbourne’s north eastVictoria’s longest road tunnels will fix the missing link in Melbourne’s freeway network. We’ll also complete the Ring Road in Greensborough, overhaul the Eastern Freeway, build Melbourne’s first dedicated busway and the North East Trail.
