Brijmohan Agrawal Ji
Brijmohan Agrawal ji, a strong and
spiritual leader, and one of the
strongest national parties of India
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the
ministry of Chhattisgarh, India.
Until 2013, he has undertaken and managed a
number of departments like Public Works
Department, Endowment, School Education,
Culture, Tourism Departments and Legislative
Affairs. Since 2013 reshuffle, he has been the
Minister of Agriculture, Fish Rearing, Water
Resources and Animal Husbandry.
He was born in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on May 1, 1959.
He finished the Master’s degree in Commerce and has
completed L.L.B degree from Durga Mahavidyalaya
in Raipur. In his student life
itself, his aim was to become an advocate.
His wife name is Mrs. Sarita Agrawal
and has three children.
His journey of politics started in student life
itself when he joined ABVP, Akhil Bharatiya
Vidyarthi Parishad in 1977.
He started taking active participation
in many political affairs.
He held major positions in student’s politics.
Finally in 1980, Brijmohan Agrawal ji became
the President of Agarwal Yuva Mandal and
remained in the position for a
time period for 5 years.
He was the President of his college, Durga
Mahavidyalaya in Raipur from 1981-1982,
and also was the Chief Advisor of the
University Student Union of
Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University,
Raipur.
He is the Member Director of Jaycees, an
Indian politician and member of the BJP,
and is a cabinet minister for education
in the Chhattisgarh state.
He has also taken lead in the ministries of
Legislative Affairs, School Education,
Endowment, and Culture, other than the
Public Works and Tourism Departments.
He held many diverse important positions and
get intricately involved in a number of
activities. Since 1990, he has remained
as a successful M.L.A. from
the Raipur seat.
Before the division of the Madhya Pradesh into
Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, he was the
minister. Recognizing his contribution and
efforts in the Vidhan Sabha, he has been
bestowed with the award of the title
of Best Legislator.
He is also a social worker and has done many social
activities like providing fund for the development
of health and education of poor children, helping
in marriage of girls from poor families.
He also helped the disabled people
by providing them tricycles.
Mr. Brijmohan Agrawal ji was awarded the
position of religious trust and affairs minister of
Chhattisgarh in 2008.
He is also a religious master, considers all the
religions as same as he participates both in
Brahmin feast as well as Roja Iftar party.
He takes the lead in organising the event
of Rajim Khumbh and has
made it a success.
