YOUR STAFFORD HOUSE
We have a fresh approach for students who choose to study on our wide range of courses and
options with exciting on-site activities and well planned, interactive excursion lessons and
trips.
We use major excursion destinations such as London, Cambridge and Oxford as a ‘classroom’
where students are exposed to a wealth of history and culture through walking tours and visits
to museums, colleges, cathedrals and other attractions.
Our carefully planned guided tours enable our students to visit famous landmarks and learn
about the location and history, as well as experiencing daily life in the city.
We have developed our own unique information pack and educational materials to be used
on these excursions, which students are able to take home with them.
Our centres and locations have all been selected for their safe and secure environments,
and we offer high levels of supervision. We understand that you trust us to take care of your
students and we take our responsibility very seriously. For this reason, we have rules and
procedures in place for all our young students to ensure their safety and well-being, which of
course is our top priority.
In addition, our ‘team in pink’ – our Student Welfare Officers, are at each centre, to ensure that
all students have someone to look after them and to listen to them if they have any questions
or need advice or support at any time.
We are determined to provide the best possible experience for our students. From the moment
they arrive and are greeted at the arrivals hall, we are there to guide and support them every
step of the way to the moment we wave them goodbye.
A variety of fun and exciting activities are organised by our teachers and activity staff,
including sports, arts and crafts, drama, dance, games and competitions, quizzes, talent
shows and discos.
On Classic PLUS courses, students will also receive specialist tuition/coaching in their chosen
activity.
We also offer more specialised programmes, taught by specialist tutors and/or coaches. They
include Art and Design and Drama courses, Arsenal Soccer Schools, Saracens School
of Rugby, STEM & Coding, Leadership courses, and Academic courses.
A wide range of exciting activities
Our schools have always been a safe haven for students and we have highly developed
contingency plans in place in the unlikely event of an emergency. Our staff are fully trained
in these procedures so students can always feel they are in safe hands whilst in the care of
Stafford House.
An exclusive programme of excursions to historical, cultural and fun destinations is offered,
linked to motivating lessons preparing the students for visits to many of the UK and USA’s
most famous landmarks.
Destinations include Cambridge, Canterbury, Windsor, Brighton, Oxford and London, as well
as many other interesting locations, depending on which centre students attend.
Further optional excursions (at extra cost) are available, often unique to each location, and
can be booked in advance. Examples include Disneyworld and Universal Studios in California,
Thorpe Park near London, musicals, and weekends in London, New York, Paris or Edinburgh.

Our name is all about capturing that summer feeling - all year round. We deliver tailor-made
package programmes to groups of students throughout the year, each lasting 1 to 4 weeks
and designed according to the needs and interests of each group.
Whether your group is looking for specialised course content for academic, cultural or professional purposes, we work with you to un-
derstand your requirements and objectives, and use that understanding to design a highly effective teaching programme. We welcome
groups from a variety of backgrounds and professions; from university students and business executives, to nurses, pilots and teachers.
Alongside the course content, we can offer a bespoke calendar of cultural and social activities, meal plans (with specific dietary
requirements if required) and assistance with particular travel arrangements and accommodation types, ensuring that every aspect of
your experience is tailored to your needs and expectations.

The Spirit of Summer All Year Round
S A M P L E TA I L O R - M A D E C O U R S E S• Last year we ran a “Shakespeare” one-week course course that included seeing a couple of plays - preparing for them in class
and putting on a performance.
• We run tailored exam preparation courses for Trinity GESE, Cambridge CAE and IELTS preparation for closed groups on short
timeframes (2-4 weeks).
• We also had groups of teachers from Spain, Italy and China who had morning “refresher” General English classes and “teaching
methodology” afternoon classes.
• We also run The World of Work (Alternanza Scuola Lavoro) - a course which allows participants to improve their business
communication skills and interact confidently and effectively in a number of different professional situations. Students will
search, apply and interview for job roles as well as explore the rules, regulations, protocol and jargon of the modern workplace.
