▶ CBS4701 Project in Language Studies▶ 6 credits at Level 4. Compulsory.

▶ Individual project▶ Each project must have a supervisor

▶ Recommended: 6 hours of consultation▶ Meeting schedules mutually agreed by supervisor and

supervisee▶ Supervisees should take initiative in seeking consultation

▶ Project period: Sem 1 - Sem 2, 2016-17▶ Alternative project periods require special approval from

supervisor, block coordinator, and BACBS programme leader.GPA requirement may apply.

▶ Students will explore an issue or a problem in languageeducation, language testing, and/or Korean/Japaneselanguage and linguistic studies, supervised by an academicstaff member in the related field

▶ Only a designated selection of internship programmesorganised by CBS may fulfil Capstone project requirement

Matching process

Step 1 (Mar 1 - 15) Students indicate choices of supervisors.Up to 3 choices per student.(Note: Students with nil input will berandomly matched in Step 3.)

Step 2 (Mar 16 - 31) Supervisors choose among their 1st-choice applicants.

Step 3 (Early April) Remaining students and supervisors willbe matched by Capstone coordinators.Efforts will be made to match studentswith their 2nd or 3rd choice of supervisor.
