BRIEF 1PAGE 1

The Guardian’s supporting magazine ‘g2’ is releasing four articles about water pollution threats. The four articles will be featured over a period of a month, one each week. I have designed the covers for these four covers. I came up with article titles, unique patterns that represent the specific issue, however also work as a set and also designed some fold out posters that would work as a collective. The posters and magazines are both available within the Saturday’s Guardian package.

BRIEF 1PAGE 2

The covers would be printed onto the stock that ‘g2’ use, I feel the design is flexible enough to sit well on any paper. It especially works well with slightly off-white, newsprint style paper, as the image itself is so crisp. The photographed images are prints to demonstrate the front cover. A file of the spread, as featured aboved, would be sent to appropriate recipiant.

BRIEF 1 - G2 MAGAZINE COVERS

BRIEF 1PAGE 3

These are the poster fold outs, they would fold out of the Guardian’s Saturday package, and correspond with the specific issue ‘g2’ was relating to that week. They would be printed onto a bulky newsprint stock, size A1 (840mmX594mm) and would work as a collective. They feature tips on how to help prevent further water pollution, in that specific area touched upon in the week’s issue.
