Purpose Of This Assignment The aim of this project is to enable actors to develop their acting skills through the exploration of different acting techniques, including preparation and reflection; to provide actors the opportunity to acquire the honed employability skills required for effective employment and to understand the historical basis and principles of a naturalistic approach to acting and the skills needed to undertake a performance in a naturalistic style.

Scenario As a company you will independently organise and produce an actor’s showcase that you will perform in. You will need to advertise your show to prospective employers, theatre companies, agents, drama schools, promotors, funders, etc. Your showcase is an opportunity to market yourself to potential employers and clients and professionalism is essential.

Task 1:
