To set up and maintain a beauty blog, to which I would be uploading content to on a

regular basis.

CONCEPT

Although a beauty blog, I wanted to ensure that the blog also reected my interests

as a graphic designer so the blog includes product reviews, hauls and tutorials about

makeup and beauty as well as posts about design and packaging.

The branding for the blog needed to be quite simple and I wanted to keep it type

based to reect my personal interests as a designer. I opted for to main colours that

could be used in different ways across all the branding.

Calendar

The idea behind the beauty calendar was to focus on having 3 products that would

be ‘Must Have’ products for that month, whether they had a theme or product

launches from particular brands. The calendar is printed onto bulky newsprint

and is 210mm x 420mm and wiro bound. The calendar also includes the website

where you can purchase that product as well as a section for notes. A proposed idea

would be that if you purchase a particular product for that month you could enter a

discount code that would entitle you to 10% off.
