wedding industry, bridal expos offer an atmosphere where brides

learn, laugh and sample. Memories are created and loyalties are

developed with a person or a brand. The attendees rarely leave without

food in their stomachs, something in their hands or ideas on their minds. Brides Rock

Bridal Expos are poised to be unlike any other.

We will kick off 2012 with Brides Rock & Sparkle: A Pampering Wedding Expo on Feb 18 in

California, MD. This is an exciting time for us as we continue to push the limits on the traditional

wedding expos to showcase paramount talents, products and services. Brides Rock Bridal Expos are

shaping up to be some of the most trendy wedding events of the year and we want to offer your

business the opportunity to get involved. We are currently looking to fill the expo with exhibitors,

small business sponsors and corporate sponsors that would appreciate a strong marketing presence

with the multitude of guests experiencing the expos with you in mind.

There are several expos being produced for 2012; each boasting a different concept, activity and

size. The success of these events is largely dependent upon the continued support of staff,

Our Mission

Brides Rock Bridal Expos are exciting and unique bridal shows committed to connecting today’s sophisticated bride with local wedding

professionals. These expos are distinctive because we focus on executing the latest trends or needs of local brides such as pampering expos,

vintage expos, home living expos, DIY workshops as well as couture expos. This sets us apart and a cut above the rest.

The mission of Brides Rock Bridal Expos is to provide opportunities to unite brides, vendors and venues, not only to assist modern brides with

creating their dream wedding, but also to help wedding professionals broaden their brand awareness to meet their business goals.

About Brides Rock & Sparkle: A Pampering Wedding Expo

Brides Rock & Sparkle {Twice per year in February & tentatively in July • 86 exhibitors max}

Life in the DMV is already hectic; and becoming a bride can be a second full-time job. No wonder

we have so many tired, overwhelmed and stressed out bridezillas on our hands! So Pinkberry

Moon has centered Brides Rock & Sparkle on pampering the brides with glitz, glamour and local

salon and relaxation services.

We create an oasis of relaxation within our Signature Salon Alley by offering the brides an

opportunity to enjoy a full range of wedding services such as massages, facial demonstrations,

hair and make-up samples and tips, and even tanning demonstrations. They are also treated to

wine, signature cocktails and mocktails, choice hors d’oeuvres while blanketed in an

environment that allows them to mingle and connect with wedding professionals and other

brides.

But our expos are not just about the brides. We make special efforts to ensure that our

exhibitors and sponsors are very well taken care of. To help exhibitors make a memorable

impression on brides and families, Brides Rock & Sparkle is one of our boutique expos with

approximately 2 - 3 exhibitors per category. This not only reduces competition in such a

saturated market, but it helps the bride remember which exhibitors they connected with (which

helps to foster sales). We also don’t focus our advertising efforts on the free prizes that tend to

attract the non-buyers, but rather on the unique theme or activity of the expo. And it is our goal

to work closely with exhibitors, and especially sponsors, to ensure that Brides Rock Bridal Expos

are a great investment.

Between Salon Alley, our entertaining “Great Bridal Race”, the up-beat Catwalk Fashion Show

and our Private Bridal Reception, we have a sum total of an enjoyable expo for everyone

involved.

Association with Uniqueness –Instead of focusing our advertising on free prizes, we attract the buyers by focusing on the unique themes and

trends of the event. At Brides Rock & Sparkle, we feature glitz, glam and pampering in our Salon Alley and a fun way to earn prizes in our

“Great Bridal Race” (our version of The Amazing Race). At Brides Rock Vintage & Brides Rock the Weekend, we offer our exhibitors a chance

to win prizes in Battle of the Bakers. Our chic audience and our fabulous vendors will never be bored.

Affordability – In today’s rocky economy, businesses are finding it difficult to effectively and affordably market themselves. Participation at a

Brides Rock Bridal Expo is kept within reasonable financial reach, even for the novice in the industry. We also offer special discounts when

booking more than one show simultaneously.

Increased Exposure – The wedding industry remains an open market, and therefore is often

crowded. So Brides Rock Bridal Expos offer trendy ways for your brand to be seen in a busy market.

Exhibitors will be privileged to loads of opportunities to be featured in their category or to become a

sponsor at an affordable rate. Exhibitors and sponsors will also be able to position their brand above

other participants in memorable ways like floor and wall decals, slide show advertisements and more.

Intimacy – An experienced exhibitor at a large expo once warned a novice exhibitor,

“…brides will be moving past your table like cattle.” Brides Rock Bridal Expos wants to give exhibitors

and sponsors an opportunity to connect with prospects without anyone feeling overwhelmed or

rushed. Therefore at most expos, we will have a maximum of 5 exhibitors per category, with some

capping at 3. Brides Rock The Weekend and Brides Rock Couture will be our larger expos for those who

desire massive exposure.

Lucrative Industry – The wedding industry has grown to an empire of over $40 billion per

year, with over $1.9 billion in advertising alone. Bridal expos have been proven to be a very cost-

effective means of connecting with many brides in one day to showcase talents and specialties. It’s a great means of having someone else

work to bring future clients to you while you cater to your current clientele.

Networking – We encourage exhibitors and sponsors to network for approximately 30 to 45 minutes prior to Expo openings for increased

business opportunities.

Door Prizes – Although it’s not required, we encourage our exhibitors and sponsors to participate in the door prize give-away program which

will bring brides directly to your table.

Brides Rock Vintage {Once per year in April or May • 76 -100 exhibitors max}

Step back in time and focus on the beautiful, classic eras of the late 1800’s to 1980s at Brides

Rock Vintage. The exhibitors that are selected either specialize in vintage or they can provide

services that capture the heart of the time periods that most interests the bride. Brides will

enjoy clothing, textiles, jewelry and accessories of old world styles such as the Victorian era,

the Roaring Twenties, the hip-hugging ‘70s as well as more modernized retro styles sought by

today’s fashion-conscious young adults.

In addition, PME makes this expo exciting and fun by holding our “Battle of the Bakers” and

offering 3 Design Studios for transformation (1 Studio is an exclusive Sponsorship position).

The environment, although lively and exciting, is also kept intimate (fewer than 100) to foster

strong connections.

Brides Rock DIY Workshops {Once per year, usually Sept thru Oct • 40 – 50 exhibitors max}

This is our answer to the DIY bridal community that wants to put together a fantastic wedding on a shoe-string

budget. The workshops will occur every other Sunday over the course of 5 weekends. These are all-day sessions

that include a 3-hour morning instruction that repeats each week and a 90 minute afternoon session that changes

topic each week. The brides will also have the benefit of a fully decorated dining hall where they will enjoy a warm

lunch. With just 100 brides in attendance for each session, this is the perfect opportunity for wedding professionals

to speak directly with brides, teach the truths and pitfalls of their category as well as direct attention to their

services. There is only one exhibitor per category present and the goal is to build a strong network of service

professionals to offer the brides the ability to secure all of her wedding professionals for less than $15,000. Brides

Rock Vintage also provides the brides with a DIY Organizer that features local business profiles which is another

fantastic method to keep your business in front of the bride all year while she plans.

Brides Rock a 10 Carat Affair {Held once per year in the summer or winter •100 exhibitors max}

Brides Rock a 10 Carat Affair is truly a special affair as one lucky bride in the DMV will win this small luxurious

wedding ceremony and reception. Brides-to-be will have the opportunity to “crash” our winner’s wedding as

guests to get inspiration for their own special day. With the help of our sponsors, the event space will be

transformed into something magical, breathtaking and awe-inspiring.

Opportunities for sponsorship include exclusivity in the ability to transform one of three Design Studios to

truly wow the brides and guests with your company’s abilities. Sponsors are also permitted to magically

altering the Reception and/or the Ceremony Experiences.

Exhibitors will demonstrate their work or service in our Exhibitor Pavilions, which features large spaces for

more showcasing capability. Exhibitors may also showcase their talents in our Exhibitor Studios or in

collaboration with other Exhibitors in one of our Design Studios. The Exhibitor Studios are galleries of

fabulous work in categories like Cake, Floral, Tabletop, Gown and Men’s Wear.

Brides Rock the Weekend {Held once per year in January • 150+ exhibitors}

This is our two-day bridal and home living extravaganza. Couples spend over $40 billion on wedding

related purchases per year and an additional $50 billion within the first year on cars, homes and

furniture. This expo celebrates the journey of their first year by them with local wedding

professionals to assist with wedding planning and numerous home living professionals. Many

exhibitors will be represented including photography, venues, bridal

fashions, catering as well as furniture stores, realtors, insurance

agents and automobile salespeople to assist with home living

lifestyle after they say I Do. Exhibitors will have opportunities to

showcase their work in our extra large Exhibitor Pavilions as well as

participation in two of four Design Studios to make brides literally

feel at home.

Brides Rock Couture {Premiering November 2013 • 150 exhibitors max}

This is the ultimate wedding expo experience that caters to brides with lavish wedding dreams. The

entire event space is transformed into a bridal mall with 10 specialized boutiques for brides to enjoy the

quintessential wedding shopping experience. This expo boasts of a somber Ceremony Setting, a vibrant

Reception Experience which is the heartbeat and center of the entire event, as well Exhibitor Studios

showcasing glamour and sophistication. Brides can experience epic eye candy with lush floral

arrangements, impeccable tabletops, irresistible wedding cakes, exciting live music, exotic honeymoon

destinations, couture bridal fashion, elegant wedding venues, live entertainment and every resource

imaginable to make their wedding the celebration of a lifetime. We also feature a chic Bridal Lounge,

an upscale Cigar Lounge, and even a restaurant-style lunch experience.

attend, but would still appreciate the opportunity to

participate in such unique and innovative events. So Brides

Rock & Sparkle has two fantastic ways for Exhibitors to get

in front of hundreds of brides without having a rental space

or even being present at the Expo.

BRIDES ROCK DIY WEDDING ORGANIZER

“Brides Rock Their Journey down the Aisle” is our stylish and

chic wedding workbook used by the bride-to-be for the entire course of her planning process.

As she’s guided through the workbook to plan her special day, she will be gently reminded of

your fabulous business that is ready to make her wedding dreams a reality. This Wedding

Organizer promises to give your business plenty of face-time.

The ads are available for one year and contracts are

payable in full. The Wedding Organizer will be printed in

Aug and distributed to brides for free at the Workshops

in Sept through Oct; they will also be available for sale

throughout the year on our website and at other expos.

As an added bonus, Bridal Leads for Brides Rock DIY

Workshops will be made available for all full page

advertisers.

EXPO BRIDAL BAGS - $50

You can have your Company’s marketing material neatly and effectively distributed in pre-

prepared bridal bags that will be handed out to each bride as she enters the Expo. This is a grand

way to do what you do best – sell yourself and your services. This is also a great way for

Exhibitors who have Expo tables to ensure that they are not missing any bride they may not

catch! This service is available for a nominal fee of $50 per piece. (Exhibitors may include paper

materials or products.) To maximize this service, we suggest that Exhibitors bundle up to three

(3) pieces in one neat unit. All materials and products must be received by the due date

indicated per expo and are no exceptions to that date.

EXPO GUIDE ADVERTISEMENT - Beginning at $40

An Exhibitor, demonstrating or not, may have their advertisement listed in the Brides Rock &

Sparkle Expo Guide. The Expo Guide will be handed out to every person in attendance. Not only

is this a fantastic way to put your best foot forward if you are unable to personally demonstrate

at the Expo, but it’s a great way to build your networking group for future business possibilities

as well. We offer 2 full pages, 1 full page, one-half page, or one-quarter page sizes.

Once accepted, this contract is non-cancellable and non-transferrable. All payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Refunds will only be

made if the application is not accepted. Cancellations with less than 30 days notice may result in full payment being due and/or charges to the

RULES & REGULATIONS EXHIBITOR/ADVERTISER COVENANTS

1. The Exhibitor agrees to (i) obey all laws, by-laws, ordinances and regulations

governing use of the facility and operation of the Brides Rock Bridal Expo

(hereinafter referred to as “BRBE” or “Expo”), (ii) abide by the rules and

regulations of the city, fire and police departments and of any other

government or regulatory body having authority to regulate the facility and the

Expo, and (iii) obey all laws, including those pertaining to health and safety,

consumer protection and protection of visitors to the Expo.

2. Exhibitor agrees to abide by all rules and regulations governing the Expo,

described herein, and established from time to time by Pinkberry Moon Events.

3. Exhibitor agrees to obtain, at its own expense, any licenses, permits or

insurance which are required for the operation of its trade or business during

the term of the Expo and to pay all taxes, including all applicable sales taxes, of

any nature or kind that may be levied against it as a result of the operation of

its trade or business in its contracted space.

4. Exhibitor agrees not to conduct or be associated with any promotional contests

held at or in connection with the Expo unless otherwise agreed to in writing by

Brides Rock Bridal Expo in advance of Expo.

5. Exhibitor is encouraged to demonstrate their work. If what they are

demonstrating can do damage to the floor, they will have to bring a floor

covering (i.e. rug) to cover the floor area inside their space where they will be

demonstrating. If Exhibitor does not adhere to this request, they will not be

permitted to demonstrate their work.

6. No material of any kind promoting a business, who has not contracted a space,

may be distributed before, during or after the show. Exhibitor agrees to pay

the full fee of a Basic Table for each unapproved business promoted before,

during or after the Expo.

7. By signing this agreement and participating in this Expo, Exhibitor agrees to

share their business information with our sponsors and gives permission to

be contacted by them.

8. Only exhibitors whose account is paid in full may move-in and set-up at the

Expo. Full payment is due 30 days prior to Expo.

SPACE REGULATIONS

9. The space contracted is to be used solely by the Exhibitor whose name appears

on the contract. No subletting, assignments or sharing of exhibit space allowed.

Space assignment is at the sole discretion of Brides Rock Bridal Expos. BRBE will

take into consideration the requests of Exhibitors but does not guarantee or

promise a specific space. Exhibitor must be 18 years of age or older.

10. Exhibitor may only sell, display or distribute the items that were approved with

their contract. If non-approved items are displayed for sale for any reason,

Exhibitor will be asked to remove these items. If the items(s) are not removed,

Exhibitor will be asked to leave the Expo, and will not be accepted into any

future Expos. This includes any Expo into which the exhibitor has already been

accepted.

11. Exhibitor agrees to occupy the contracted exhibitor space during entire Expo

hours and to sell, demonstrate, present or conduct contract-approved activity

associated with the Expo only within that space. All additional presentations

must be approved by Brides Rock Bridal Expos in advance of Expo. Exhibitor is

not permitted to distribute material in the parking lot, at the Welcome Table,

within the aisles, in the restrooms or any other areas outside of their

contracted space.

12. Exhibitor is required to set up and break down on time. Exhibitor may not leave

their table or Expo space unattended at any time. Early departing Exhibitors

will be subject to a $100 fine and will forfeit its right to receive a copy of the list

of attending brides. Those Exhibitors who fail to exhibit (i.e. no shows) will

forfeit all money submitted and its right to receive a copy of the list of

attending brides. Pinkberry Moon Events reserves the right to deny acceptance

into any future Brides Rock Bridal Expos or Pinkberry Moon Events. This

includes any Expo into which the exhibitor has already been accepted.

13. Display space/area must be kept clean and neat at all times. All packing boxes,

supplies and personal food containers must be hidden from the public view.

The exhibitor area must be left clean and neat at the end of the Expo. If

applicable, Exhibitor is required to remove any masking tape from the floor and

around their exhibit space before leaving the Expo.

14. Display boards must not be higher than eight (8) feet. Anything over that

height must be pre-approved by Brides Rock Bridal Expos in advance of Expo.

The backside of your display boards must be blank and finished.

15. Signage: No handwritten signs are allowed – use professional signs only.

16. Each Exhibitor is responsible for obtaining all necessary licenses and permits to

use live music, photographs or other copyrighted materials in the Exhibitor’s

space. The use of audio and video devices is permitted, but must be controlled

and not interfere with other Exhibitor’s ability to display their services. Expo

management will determine whether one Exhibitor’s music or display is

infringing upon another’s Exhibit.

MINI TABLES: 4 FOOT ROUND TABLE REGULATIONS

17. Each Mini Table/Space is not considered as a Single, Double or Triple Exhibitor

Space. These tables are not required to be manned during the entire expo.

PME and/or BRBE will not be held responsible for any and all claims, losses,

liabilities or damages, costs and charges arising from or as a result of leaving

the 4 foot table unattended. All other Exhibitor Regulations apply.

DESIGN STUDIOS, CEREMONY EXPERIENCE, RECEPTION EXPERIENCE

18. Exclusivity is available for design companies who have the capability to provide

all elements required in the Design Studios. Sponsor will be responsible for

activities within the room when they have responsibility for that space.

Sponsor must also carry liability insurance to cover any possible damage.

FACILITY REGULATIONS

19. No open flames, including candle or incense burning, are allowed.

20. If applicable, electrical outlets may only be used if the appropriate fee is paid. If

Exhibitor requests an electrical outlet(s), they must bring their own electrical

cords and tape.

21. No defacement or hanging anything on the walls of the facility is allowed.

22. There is NO SMOKING permitted inside the facility. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

may be brought into the facility unless otherwise permitted in writing. NO PETS

allowed in the facility. All violators of these rules will be asked to leave the

Expo and will not be accepted into future Expos. This includes any Expo that

the Exhibitor has already been accepted into.

23. The aisles, passageways and overhead spaces remain strictly under control of

Expo management and no signs, decorations, banners, advertising matter or

similar devices will be permitted in these areas without special permission of

management. All exhibits must remain within the confines of the exhibitor’s

space and no exhibitor will be permitted to erect signs or display products in

such a manner as to obstruct the view, cause injury or negatively affect the

display of other exhibitors. However, this does not qualify or limit the free

responsibility of the Exhibitors to save PME and/or BRBE, its officers or agents

and/or the venue harmless and free from all damage or other liability, as set

out in a prior section of this agreement.

VEHICLES

24. If the venue permits Exhibitors to display their vehicle within the facility, or

within a designated area, Exhibitor must lock, tape or seal the gas tank cap

(cover). The amount of fuel is not to exceed ¼ tank or 5 gallons, whichever is

less. Batteries must be disconnected. A drip pan must be placed under the

vehicle. Vehicles cannot be turned on once the show is open and there is public

in the building. Keys must be given to management for the duration of the

Expo. If you need to power your vehicle without the use of the battery, you are

permitted to a 100 to 12 DC volt converter. If the vehicle is to be displayed

outside of the venue, it must not be left unattended while running (or with the

keys in the ignition) at any time.

RIGHTS OF BRIDES ROCK BRIDAL EXPOS

25. Brides Rock Bridal Expos reserves the right, in its sole and unfettered discretion

to (i) determine the eligibility of Exhibitors and exhibits for the Expo; (ii) reject

or prohibit exhibits or Exhibitors which BRBE considers objectionable,

inappropriate, disruptive or offensive to BRBE, other Exhibitors or Expo

attendees; (iii) change or modify the layout of the Expo and/or relocate

exhibits or Exhibitors; (iv) cancel, in whole or in part, the Expo or (v) change the

date, location and duration of the Expo; without any liability to Pinkberry Moon

Events and/or Brides Rock Bridal Expos.

26. In the event of extreme weather conditions, fire, casualty, disaster, labor

disputes, acts of God, or any other emergency situation beyond the control of

Brides Rock Bridal Expos or PME, BRBE will, at its discretion, reschedule and/or

procure alternate space for Expo. Exhibitor agrees that the terms and

conditions set forth in this agreement shall apply to any rescheduled date

and/or relocation, and Expo shall not be liable to Exhibitor for any loss or

damage suffered by Exhibitor by reason of such rescheduling and/or relocation

of Expo.

27. Except as specifically provided in this agreement, should Pinkberry Moon fail to

hold this Brides Rock Bridal Expo as herein provided or to furnish to Exhibitor

the space herein described, the Expo shall refund to the Exhibitor all amounts

paid hereunder and such refund shall be accepted by Exhibitor as complete

settlement and discharge of Exhibitor’s claims and demands.

28. Exhibitor understands that once accepted, this contract is non-cancellable,

except as specified herein. All payments are non-refundable and

nontransferable. Refunds will be made only if the application is not accepted.

Exhibitor shall pay a fee of $50.00 if any check presented for payment is

returned by bank. Exhibitors with a history of collection problems, bad debts or

non-sufficient funds checks that are not honored will not be invited to

participate in future Expos.

29. Exhibitor understands that BRBE reserves the right to treat an Exhibitor’s

downsizing of a space as a cancellation of the original space and as a purchase

of new space. An Exhibitor may be required to move to a new space location if

it requests a downsizing of space.

30. By submitting this agreement, exhibitor, their employees and representatives,

agree to comply with all the policies (both stated and inferred) of Brides Rock

Bridal Expos and the hosting facility. Any matters not specifically covered by

this agreement will be subject solely to the decision of Brides Rock Bridal

Expos. Brides Rock Bridal Expos will, in best effort and in good faith, promote

and carry out the objectives of this event.

INDEMNIFICATION AND LITIGATION

31. Exhibitor agrees to indemnify and save harmless Pinkberry Moon Events and

Brides Rock Bridal Expos and the facility (and their respective officers,

directors, employees, insurers, agents, representatives and those for whom the

Exhibitor is responsible in law) against any and all claims, losses, liabilities and

damages (including legal fees and expenses) costs and charges arising from or

as a result of any unauthorized use of any Work by the Exhibitor, it’s agents,

representatives, employees and those for whom the Exhibitor is responsible in

law.

32. Shall litigation be necessary for Expo to enforce any condition of this

agreement, Expo, in addition to any damages or relief awarded, shall be

entitled to receive interest at the rate of one and one-half percent per month

from the date of the breach, court costs, and attorney’s fees of one-third of the

total exhibitor fee. Exhibitor agrees that jurisdiction, venue, and choice of law

shall be in the State of Maryland. 33. Liability Statement: Reasonable precautions will be taken by Pinkberry Moon

Events and Brides Rock Bridal Expos to protect personal property during Expo.

However, PME and BRBE will not be held responsible for any loss, damage,

defacement or destruction of any property displayed by the Exhibitor, no

matter how it is caused. This also includes personal injury. Pinkberry Moon

Events and Brides Rock Bridal Expos will provide no insurance on the Exhibitor

or against the acts or omission of the Exhibitor, its agents or employees. All

insurance for the personal property, public liability and personal injury must be

carried by the Exhibitor.

PUBLICITY/USE OF PHOTOS OR VIDEO

34. The Expo may be videotaped or photographed by Brides Rock Bridal Expos.

Therefore, by signing this agreement the above named company consents to

the use of faces, names, likeness, trade name and trademark of the company

and its representatives for promotional purposes without compensation to

Exhibitors.
