BrickHouse Track View  Mobile Viewing App for BrickHouse Security’s GPS Tracking Platform 

 Overview Track View is an easy to use mobile app that connects you to the BrickHouse Security GPS Platform (gps.brickhousesecurity.com) and enables its subscribers to view locations collected by their GPS tracking device. All device configuration, alerts and geofences are configured within the online portal.  Currently available for iPhone and iPad.  We plan to launch an android version later this year.  Screens and Features

 Q: On what Operating Systems or Mobile Devices can I run BrickHouse Track View? A: BrickHouse Track View is optimized for Apple iPhone 5, 6 6+ and iPad, versions 7x and above.  Q: Do I need a BrickHouse Security GPS tracker and subscription to use Track View? A: Yes, you must have a current and active GPS tracker and BrickHouse Security subscription service associated with gps.brickhousesecurity.com for BrickHouse Track View to work. If you are a GPS subscriber of track.bhs.net and want BrickHouse Track View, please contact customer support.  Q: Will BrickHouse Track View work on my Android Phone or Tablet? A: No, BrickHouse Track View for Android is currently in development. If you have an Android device you can still access your account via the mobile web browser.  Q: Will you have BrickHouse Track View for BlackBerry and Window’s Mobile phones? A: No, we do not have a version for BlackBerry or Window’s mobile. If you have these devices, you can still access your account via the mobile web browser.  Q: Can I view live active GPS tracking on BrickHouse Track View? A: Not yet, BrickHouse Track View is a view only app and presents the last tracked location and breadcrumb trails.   Q: How can I get the last tracked location? A: Once a device is selected, BrickHouse Track View presents the last tracked location on the map.  A subscriber can tap the refresh or the locate now buttons to request a more recent tracked location.   Q: What if I don’t see a location on the Map? A: Be sure that you selected a device to report. Also confirm that your GPS Account is active and the device is charged or was reporting to the web version of the platform.  If a location was stored in the GPS Platform, it will be this “last” location that will display in Track View. You may also want to confirm that you have wireless data or WiFi turned on to enable the transfer of location data to the app.   

Q: Where do I go for BrickHouse TrackView Customer Support? A: Please visit http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/securus or call 800­401­8122 for further assistance.  Q: Will BrickHouse Track View allow me to see multiple devices? A: If you have multiple devices within one account, your devices will appear in a list on the Select A Device screen. To provide a good user experience on small mobile screens, you can select any and all devices from the list and then toggle from one device to the next to view their locations on a map.  Q: Will BrickHouse Track View cause my battery to discharge? A: No, since BrickHouse Track View is a viewing app and presents most recent activity, and not live tracking it does not drain the battery unless the user continually requests updates. However, as with all location­based apps, we recommend the user logs out of the app and confirms that it is not operating in the background as this can cause the battery to drain.   BrickHouse TrackView ­ App Screens and Descriptions   Log In Screen 

  Enter your UserName and Password. Tap blue Login bar at bottom.  

Enter User Name ­ the account name you use to log in Enter Password ­ the password you have associated with this account 

 

   Forgot your password Enter your User Name and Email ID and tap OK.  Dashboard Tap on the Dashboard Listing icon to navigate to other features within Track View. 

 Please select a device. Tap “Devices” in upper right corner to select a GPS Tracker associated with your account. 

  A Device list appears. Select a device(s) from the list provided, then tap on the Select Devices tab along the bottom of the screen. This will provide the last recorded location of that device(s) you selected placed on the map. The map dashboard can be viewed in satellite and map mode. You can then select the icon to view location summary.  

 

      

Geofences   

  

   The Geofences screen provides a list of the geofences you have set up for your account. This a view only feature and provides either a Map or Satellite view of the GeoFence configured in the online platform.  

BreadCrumbs   

   

Can be selected from the Dashboard feature list or by tapping the plus sign in the lower left of the screen. The Map view appears and will center all the locations (up to the last 100) tracked. Each “dot” on the map is a tracked location and when selected will the location details. By default the last location is the current date and start date is 5 days prior to the last date.      

Locate Now 

  

  The Locate Now feature enables the user to request an on­demand location. This request can take several minutes to execute and does require the device to be charged and within GPS range.       

Refresh   

 If the device is moving and you want to retrieve the last current location tap the “Refresh” icon in the lower right of the screen. This enables the user to update the map with the latest live tracking location.   Street View Street View is a technology featured in Google Maps that provides panoramic views from positions along many streets in the world. Tap on the Street View Icon in the upper right of the Summary screen to provide a panoramic view of the location associated with its breadcrumb.  

  About Us The About Us screen contains a short description of BrickHouse Security and a link to the company website. Selecting the link will take you out of the App and open the location in your Internet browser. 

 

  Settings Enables the user to change the password associated with their account.
