BRIARY BULLETIN
Dance, Dance, Dance On Friday 3rd March, a group of Year 6’s, Emily, Leo, Nathan, Tamzin, Kacie, Courtney, Megan, Billie and Grace went to visit the Year 12 Dance Leaders at Herne Bay High. The inspiration for our dance was Greek Gods and Goddesses. We have spent a couple of weeks practising after school with Mrs Geeves. Then on Tuesday 28th March we returned to HBHS to perform in the Junior Dance Festival along with other local school. We spent the afternoon perfecting our dance and watching as the other schools practised theirs. We felt excited to perform in front of the other schools and our parents although some of us found this nerve wracking. During the festival we had the opportunity to watch the Boys Dance Company and the Year 12 Dance Leaders perform. This inspired us and has encouraged those of us going to Herne Bay High to join a dance company. ~A big Thank you to Mrs Tickner who designed and printed our fabulous T-Shirts.~ Written by Grace B
Easter Bonnets Galore!
What a wonderful sight it was yesterday when the pupils of Key Stage 1 paraded through the playground in their wonderful Easter Bonnets.
It was also lovely to see so many parents and carers who came to watch.
After the parade the children went into assembly with Reverend Estella who chose the winners and presented special prizes. All children received Easter stickers.
Well done to all of you who made such splendid and colourful bonnets, and special congratulations to Oliver, Alfie, Paris, Olanna, Dylan, Ethan, Holly, Tony, Harvey-Lee, Alice and Sophie.
We wish you all a very Happy Easter and hope you have a wonderful break. See you all on Tuesday 18th April.

WATER BOTTLES
EVERY child MUST have a water bottle in school. We
are unable to provide cups during the day so that
children can have a drink of water. With the warm
weather approaching it is vital that children stay
hydrated. Please ensure your child has a water
bottle with them EVERY DAY.
Remember NOT to put them in bookbags to save our
lovely books from spillages.
Thank you.
FIRST DAY OF TERM 5 -
TUESDAY 18TH APRIL
Sporting News
On Wednesday 29th March the Briary Netball Team - Leo, Faye, Georgina, Emily, Evie, Poppy, Kacie and Sophie - played a mini tournament at Swalecliffe Primary.
We won 3 out of the 4 matches! Well done to the team - they all played brilliantly.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Just a reminder that school uniform requires school shoes NOT trainers to be worn. We appreciate that some winter shoes have “given up the ghost” just at the end of term and will be replaced over the holiday.
