Authentic curating + creating actual moments that are genuine and sometimes a bit raw.

Artistic interesting light, angles, color and artistry in shooting.

Ethereal the romance + simplicity of love in a way that is earthy yet delicate.

My absolute favorite part of taking photos is getting to be a really unique part of something special, capture it, and then help

others to see the beauty of it. I aim to record authentic moments and genuine interactions by fostering a fun and re-

laxed environment. I use gentle direction and years of experience to build such moments in both a flattering and natural progres-

sion. Inspiration comes from all around me--from nature, music, history, fashion, cinema, people and places. I am always looking

for light--where it is coming from and how it transforms both shapes and colors. Primary and secondary colors with warm tones

drive my work and are a constant throughout my photography. My goal is to always be improving, exploring and expanding,

while offering up the most comfortable, fun, easy, chill, reliable, and consistent product.

Most of the wedding day falls under the category of photojournalism, which is the capturing of events exactly as they occur,

although with the addition of fine art wedding photography, I incorporate a bit of direction, expertise, and styling into the existing

setting in order to curate a scene that fully reflects the beauty, emotion, and essence of the day.

You’ll notice that a portrait or engagement session is

complimentary in each package. There are some clients that shudder

at the thought of any additional camera time (grooms!) and initially say

they don’t want to do an engagement or portrait session (and if anyone

understands that, I promise you it is me!) but before you decide...

here’s why I think you should consider it.

Provides you with images you can use for Save The Dates,

announcements of your engagement, or for photos at your wedding

reception. It’s just a very special stage of your life so it’s great to

have some photos to document it.

Specifically, engagement sessions provide us with an opportunity to

get to know one another before your wedding day. If you’re not

used to it, it can be awkward having a camera follow you around

for the better part of a day! It also provides me with some insight

on how I can photograph you best.

You can use your complimentary session for engagements, bridals, or a pre/post wedding session. These sessions range

from 1-2 hours and typically take place in 1 –2 locations, depending on your package or session. I always highly

encourage using this session for engagement photos, as I really like to get to know both the bride and groom before one

of the biggest days of their lives, but that is absolutely up to you.

People always ask me about the location for a portrait session, and I only have four very simple guideline:

1. You should both feel very comfortable in the space.

2. The space should reflect you as a couple.

3. The space should be clear of too many people or distractions (unless you specifically want this look, of course!)

4. The space should fit the look and feel of the images you are hoping to achieve.

Other than that, you can also check with your wedding venue and see if they will let you shoot there!

Couples often choose to also add-on an additional session to the wedding package, traditionally for Bridals. However,

more and more, I am seeing brides opt out of a traditional Bridal Session and forego the framed canvas at the reception

to instead book a post-wedding session with their groom. It is an amazing opportunity to get some epic portraits of

you both without the stress of the actual wedding day, or keeping the dress too clean before the big day, while also

freeing up some precious minutes in your wedding-day timeline. More on this later, if you are interested!

The process // THE WEDDING WORKFLOW + WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

You will likely be working very closely with your photographer throughout the planning process

of your wedding, and they will certainly be a constant presence on your wedding day, but you

will also still be in touch months afterward. Although each wedding and each process varies a

bit, the general timeline lasts about a year from start to finish. This timeline is intended to

inform you of generally how the process will flow.

The initial client meeting takes

place ideally in person, but

sometimes online if you are out of

town or unable to meet. In this

session, we will take a look at the

packages, find out a bit more about

each other, talk about your wedding

day plans, go over an example

timeline and shot list, and talk about

what type of coverage you are

looking for and what you might

need. We will also talk about the

contract, as well as budgets and

how to make sure you are getting

everything you need with the budget

you have set.

After the consultation, in order to

book, you will need to sign a

completed contract. Once the

contract is signed, I will send a

deposit invoice which must be paid

in order to hold your date. Payment

details are listed on the invoice.

The deposit is $500.00 regardless

of your package, so even if you are

still a but unsure about how many

hours you may need, you can write

“TBA” on the contract where you

haven’t made a decision, and I will

still be contracted for your day!

About 4-6 weeks before your

wedding, I will send you a final

invoice, at which time you will

need to confirm your package

selection.

You determine when this takes

place, but I typically recommend no

less than 2 months before your

wedding. If you are wanting to

send out Save the Dates, or

engagement photos, this is probably

best scheduled even earlier. In

about 2-3 weeks after your session,

your gallery of images will be

posted to the online proofing site.

From there, you make your

selections form the images,

download your selects, order prints

and guest albums should you

choose, and can share the gallery

with friends and family.

Oftentimes, I will also blog and/or

post about our session together for

you to share!

Should you also be taking bridals, I

suggest scheduling this a bit closer

to your wedding. You will often

need to wait for a final fitting, but

you will want enough time to order

prints, and get your dress cleaned.

We are very careful with the dress,

but I suggest bringing a white (or

color similar to your dress) sheet to

the session to lay under your dress,

but be aware, if we want beautiful

images, we may have to walk a bit

off the beaten path to get them.

The same processing timeline for

engagements applies to bridal

sessions. I will not blog or post

about the bridal session until after

your wedding! Wouldn’t want to

spoil the surprise!

Page 23: Bri Costello Photography | 2016 Nuptials Investment Guide

At this time, you will start to hear

from me again. I will begin

confirming your timeline, getting

you a final invoice, and compiling a

list of your vendors and creative

team. I will also be needing

specific location and contact details

for the day to make sure everyone is

on the same page! Two weeks

before your wedding, your final

payment is due in full. You can

break this out in payments

previously if you like, just ask for

the final invoice, and pay as you

can. But at this point, the entire

balance will be due.

It’s finally here! Because of all our

amazing prep work, the day will be

relaxing and stress free. Our crew

will arrive early to scout locations,

and prep lighting, etc. for the day.

Be sure to have a bag of all ot your

“goodies”—invitation, jewelry,

knick-knacks to be photographed,

etc. together so we can snag those

right when we arrive. Also, if you

have your florist bring the bouquets

and boutonnieres, we can shoot

these early on, as well!

Shortly after the big day, keep your

eyes peeled on Facebook and

Instagram. I will post a few photos

from the day to keep you in awaited

suspense for the full gallery. At

this time, you will be able to share

the posted photos with friends and

family to share in the reminiscing

and excitement!

About 6-8 weeks after your

wedding, your entire wedding day

album will be online and ready for

downloading and viewing! Feel

free to post away, as I know you

will be as excited to share as I am!

I will also contact your other

wedding vendors, so they have the

opportunity to receive some of the

photos from the day for their use.

You and your friends + family can

order prints and canvas wraps

directly from the proofing site! If

you have ordered bamboo mounts or

albums, you will select your images

and these will be ordered separately.

Shipping time for bamboo prints is

4 weeks and once an album is

approved, it ships within 2 weeks.

And don’t forget to keep in touch!

F A Q

How do I book our wedding date?

You can book by confirming your date with BCP and completing the BCP Wedding Contract. From there, BCP will send

an invoice and the non-refundable $ 500 deposit is required in order to hold your date.

Can we remove or apply any of the sessions or add-ons from the packages for a discount or exchange?

The Packages are already steeply discounted in order to include all aspects of the wedding day necessary to tell your love

story. Sessions before the big day are extremely important, as it gives us a chance to get to know each other. All items are

available for purchase individually, so if you would like to design your own package, please reference the a la carte pricing.

How do I know which package to choose?

There is a $ 500 deposit required for all packages for me to hold the date. You can upgrade packages at any time up to the

day of your shoot, and there are even certain upgrade options after your wedding! So if you aren’t quite sure of your

schedule or budget, you can select that later after we have met and had more of an opportunity to go over your day and

determine the best coverage and plan for you.

Do we get all of the images you take, or do we get to choose the images we receive for our wedding or portrait sessions?

All images and processing will be the sole creative authority of BCP. No images are guaranteed, although we always aim

to over-deliver and exceed expectations. We only deliver the best images that tell the best story of your day.

How will you deliver our images?

As of now, all images are delivered via an online proofing gallery for download; however, a USB drive of your images is

available for purchase through the a la carte menu. Once images are uploaded to the online gallery, you will receive an

email with log-in and download instructions. Once logged-in, you are able to download the whole album, select your

favorite images for album design, and purchase prints and canvas wraps. Bamboo prints and albums will need to be

contracted through BCP directly and are not available on the proofing storefront.

How long will it take to get our images back?

Portrait sessions take 2-3 weeks to be uploaded to the online gallery and weddings have approximately a 6-8 week

turnaround, although during “high wedding season,” these times may be a bit extended. I know you are excited to see your

photos, so I always try to post a sneak peek soon after the wedding or session. I also aim to be communicative throughout

the process to keep you in the loop as I am working with your images and predicting upload dates.
