Introduction Automated data processing is the creation and implementation of technology that automatically processes data. This technology includes computers and other communications electronics that can gather, store, manipulate, prepare and distribute data. The purpose of automated data processing is to quickly and efficiently process large amounts of information with minimal human interaction and share it with a select audience. The course is available in Russian Medium and English Medium.

Prerequisite The applicants are expected to be the holders of a secondary school certificate and to possess strong knowledge of Mathematics and Physics. B2 is the required language proficiency for the both mediums of instruction. Fundamental knowledge of personal computers is strongly recommended.

Major subjects Higher Mathematics Physics Basics of algorithms and programming Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics Discrete Mathematics Computational Mathematics Architecture and functioning of automated systems Theory of algorithms and programming principles Descriptive geometry and engineering graphics Theory of electric circuits Basics of information technologies Mathematical models of informational processes and management Basics of information security Basics of intellectual property management

Electronic appliances Computer information technologies System analyses and operation analysis Databases and data warehouses Object-oriented programming and design System software Software and hardware for computer systems and networks System simulation Software for automated information processing systems Specialization subjects Automated systems engineering Graphic and multimedia systems Contemporary programming systems
