Testing your blood sugar

1 Once you have loaded the 10-testdisc (see reverse side), hold themeter in your hand or on a flatsurface. Pull (1a) and push (1b) themeter handle to expose a test strip.The meter will automatically turn on,and the “apply blood” prompt willappear on the screen. The meter isnow ready to test.

Touch the tip of the test strip tothe blood drop. Hold in place (2a)

until the meter beeps and count-down begins from 5 to 1. The resultis displayed (2b) after 5 secondsand is stored in the meter auto-matically for future reference.

To discard the test strip, hold themeter pointing down over a wastecontainer and press the blue releasebutton at the top. Then turn themeter off.

SIMPLE TESTING

Loading the BREEZE®2 Test Disc

To open the meter, hold it with thescreen facing down. Press in on thegray latch on the top edge of themeter, and then pull up.

Insert a new 10-test disc, bumpy sideup, keeping the meter flat. Gently,snap the meter shut.

Note: When you push the “On/Off”button, the screen will display howmany test strips remain in the disc inthe top left-hand corner.
