News from The Society of St. Vincent de Paul “In helping those who are poor and suffering we find

the real, lasting and deep joy of Christmas.”

Who are Vincentians? Members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (or "Vincentians" ) are men and women who strive to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to individuals in need. We are young and old, our members come in every shade of skin color, some of us are wealthy, some are financially poor, but all of us are blessed with an awareness that our blessings (time, talent or treasure) are to be shared with our brothers and sisters in need. The overwhelming response from Our Lady of Victories parish during this year’s “Giving Tree” program is an example of just how generous and aware our parishioners are of those who are less fortunate than themselves. And so, to answer the question - Who are Vincentians? - in Our Lady of Victories parish we all are! DECEMBER’S GENERAL MEETING – Our general meeting will be held this week (Monday, December 19th) at 7:30 PM in the Lower Church (instead of the parish hall). All are welcome!
