The Brandywine Conservancy
Founded by concerned locals in 1967, The Brandywine Conservancy seeks to preserve both natural and cultural resources, with a particular emphasis on protecting the water quality in the Brandywine watershed through responsible land stewardship and conservation based municipal design.

Conclusion
The Brandywine Museum of Art holds collections of American artwork, and is especially well known for featuring the works of Jamie, Andrew, and N.C. Wyeth. One of the museum's most recent exhibitions featured the paintings of N.C. Wyeth. Titled N.C. Wyeth’s America in the Making, the exhibition’s 12 paintings depict scenes and people from the United States’ history. Props from the artist’s studio give context and background to the painting, which were originally made for a calendar in the 1930s.
