Parallelogram Opposite angles are equal. Consecutive angles are supplementary. Opposite sides are congruent. Any side can be considered a base. The altitude is the perpendicular

distance from the base to the opposite side.

Properties of an Isosceles Trapezoid The bases (top & bottom) of an isosceles

trapezoid are parallel. Opposite sides of an isosceles trapezoid are

the same length (congruent) The angles on either side of the bases are

the same size/measure(congruent) The diagonals are congruent Adjacent angles (next to each other) along

the sides are supplementary. That means their measures adds up to 180 degrees.
