Student project that demonstrated creating 8 icons and 8 patterns that work to market a specific theme to the audience/world. My theme is a planning journal for pottery and hobby farming. Illustrator and InDesign.TRANSCRIPT

1) 2” of sawdust/shredded paper packed in bottom of barrel.
2) Sprinkle minerals/epsom salts.
3) Layer shredded paper, corn husks, leaves, and small sticks around the pots and between layers.
4) Fill barrel close to the top.
5) Build a stick fire at the top of the barrel and light it
6) When the fire starts to die down, feed it split long burning hard wood put in the barrel vertically (not flat as in a regular fire because a flat log could fall and break pots.
7) Keep the flames a foot or so above the rim for about an hour then stop adding wood and let it burn down below the edge and put the lid on.
8) Let the barrel cool completly (overight) before unloading.
