Assembly
I would like to thank the many parents and community members who have been coming to our
weekly assemblies this term and remind everyone that you are very welcome to grab a seat
and join us each Wednesday at 10am. The numbers of visitors at assembly are growing each
week. A special thank you to all of the community members who helped with our Harmony
Day assembly performances last week. It was great to see so many of you involved on the
day!
Special Notice: There will not be an assembly this week (Thursday 31st March) due to
’Planning Week”.
PBL Relaunch
You may have noticed our new Behaviour Expectations signs going up around the school. These
are in preparation for our PBL (Positive Behaviour for Learning) Relaunch which will be held
on Wednesday 6th April. On this day parents and community members are welcome to come
in for a sausage sizzle during AM break, which will be followed by our Relaunch Assembly. A
more detailed note outlining the day will go out soon.
Easter Hat Parade (Crazy Hat, Crazy Hair)
This will be held on Thursday 7th April at 2.15pm—detailed note to follow—parents and fami-
lies are very welcome to join in the fun.
*Welcome to Mr Bessessen who will be teaching 4K from Monday 28th April
*Reminder— As there is no teacher supervision provided before 8.30am it is unsafe for
children to be in the school grounds before this time.
Thanks to all of the parents who have come and had a chat to me over the past few
weeks, whilst I’ve been relieving for Mrs Browne, and to all of the staff at Briar who
have been such a great support! Mrs Browne is due back on Friday.
