Situated in Llanwenarth on the outskirts of Abergavenny just within the Brecon Beacons National Park, the Lamb and Flag enjoys stunning views with Sugar Loaf Mountain as the backdrop.The original pub dates back over 400 years but after a fire, it has been rebuilt with extensive additions. With its harbour-side location, the Monachty offers the perfect place to enjoy fine ales, excellent food and great atmosphere.The bar area provides a variety of entertainment including a large flat-screen TV and the restaurant seats up to 60. The Boathouse is a stunning riverside pub offering high quality fresh food, real ales and beautiful guest rooms. The Bowl Inn is a traditional country inn, with 11 en-suite rooms, located in a quiet village, but close to the city of Bristol.Originally built in 1147 as cottages for the monks building the local church, it became an inn in the 15th century.

In view of the setting sun, the Penhelig Arms enjoys a superb waterside location on the mouth of the Dyfi estuary in the resort of Aberdovey.

Nine of the ten bedrooms in the main hotel offer sea views. The Bodhelig, a neighbouring self-contained building with four suites, offers a patio or balcony, additional sofa-bed, private seating area and off-road parking. Within the main building, the Penhelig arms also boasts a meeting/conference room. The menu features locally supplied fish, caught locally when available, as well as delicious Welsh beef and lamb.

The renowned Aberdovey Golf Club is nearby, or you could try crabbing off the pier or a boat trip to catch mackerel. Watersports and kite flying are popular on the clean sandy beaches, as are walks around Snowdonia being located in the national park.

The Penwig’s seafront location in the small fishing village of New Quay provides wonderful views across the bay, where dolphins can be seen jumping and playing.This pub, serving fine ales, has been refurbished and offers six double rooms and a family cottage, providing accommodation which is both homely and contemporary. Three of the rooms in particular have stunning sea views, and there is free wi-fi as well as a car park.

A wide range of home-cooked food is prepared from locally-sourced produce and served in the restaurant or outside on a patio area which seats up to 60.
