If it were, we probably wouldnt hear horrifying stats like these:horrifying 25 percent of American women have been the victim of domestic violence. One in three women on the planet will be raped or beaten in her lifetime. About 2.3 million Americans are raped or physically assaulted every year by an intimate partner.
