In this dynamic week-long experience,campers will travel around the world to explore and rehearse scripts offolktales from across the globe. Skills in acting and reading will be sharpened—work will be done to strengthen and best utilize the actor’stools of voice and body. Campers will also learn how to take directionand make strong acting choices on their own which can only help in anyfuture auditions a camper chooses to go to!

Broadway has gone rock-n-roll and musical numbers have invaded television. Recently, many pop songs have had musicals created aroundthem—Mamma Mia, Rock of Ages, All Shook Up, Jersey Boys, MillionDollar Quartet, Xanadu and The Wedding Singer—and then there is Gleeand many dancing and singing competitions on television. In this musicalrevue, campers will explore making popular songs theatrical as they challenge all of their triple threat skills in singing, acting and dancing.Focus will be on song interpretation, acting, choreography and gainingvocal strength as the students prepare and rehearse to perform the revue at the end of camp on the Civic Auditorium Stage!
