Term 4 is already well under way but welcome back to all members of the Bowraville Central School community. The final term of the year is always a very busy me with courses being completed, excursions organised and underway, and of course formal student repor ng meframes to be met. However Term 4 is also a me of great celebra on as the whole school year culminates in so many ways. I look forward to working with everyone to ensure that the next few important weeks are as rewarding as possible for all. Our school has again taken on a more interna onal flavour with the arrival of Miss Stephanie Edelen. Stephanie joins us this week un l the end of term as a student teacher from Indiana University, USA. As with all interna onal exchanges I am sure that there will be much to learn not just for our guest but also as a host school. A very warm Bowra welcome to Stephanie. Have a great week. The Year 11 Hospitality Class did the set up and contributed to the catering for the Year 12 farewell. All the students did a fabulous job and worked at the venue from 9.00am un l 10pm that evening. The students set the tables, decorated, made canapés and pre dinner drinks, served the customers, cleared and closed down the venue. I was so proud of their professionalism and their commitment to the job at hand. All students gained a total of 12 hours work placement me for their por olios, which is a mandatory requirement for their comple on of the Cer ficate II in Food and Beverage. Congratula ons Year 11 Hospitality!
Swim School K‐6 Students will be par cipa ng in Swim and Survive during Weeks 5 and 6 this term. It will cater for all ability levels from students who need to gain greater confidence in the water to students who are strong swimmers. The school has been able to reduce the cost of the program to make it more affordable for students and as such we would hope that all students would a end.
Prac cum Teachers Bowraville Central is hos ng a number of Prac cum students in both primary and secondary classes over the next five weeks including a teacher from the USA. On behalf of the school community, welcome to Bowraville and we trust that you will enjoy your me at BCS.

Healthy and Unhealthy Food Kindergarten would like to share ideas on healthy and unhealthy food. We all agree that healthy foods should be eaten every day, while unhealthy foods are some mes food.
Vitamins I think carrot is healthy because it has vitamins that make you grow.
Sienna
Ice creams are not healthy but capsicums are healthy and I no ced that all healthy food is grown from gardens from farms.
Violet I think the tomato and a potato is healthy and the ice cream is unhealthy.
Declan
Carrots are healthy. Ice creams are some mes food because they have a lot of sugar. Oranges are very good for you because they have vitamins.
Jacinda
My healthy food is pumpkin. It is an everyday food. Ryan
I think the orange is healthy and good for your body.
