The money raised through sponsorship goes directly back into the communities helping us sponsor basketball tournaments for high schools and local community, local clinics and the upgrade and usage of local neighborhood gyms. Bounce Back Legends helps iconic athletes (basketball) of their time to launch and manage neighborhood youth programs and tournaments that empower youth with education, mentoring, and health & well-ness in their respective communities around the Mid-Atlantic.

Mission:Founded by athletes and empowered by a coalition of people like you, the mission of Bounce Back Legends is to leverage our love of basketball to build friendship, health, education, mentorship and fellowship to uplift youth and young adults in neighborhoods around the Mid -Atlantic.

Vision:To connect diverse communities and generations of people around the world through our shared love of youth, community and basketball.

Founding Team:

Reggie Williams:

Williams began his career as a McDonald's High School All-American while attending Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Baltimore, where he played with fellow NBA players Muggsy Bogues, Reggie Lewis, and David Wingate. The 1981–82 Dunbar Poets finished the season at 29–0 during Williams's junior season and finished 31–0 during his senior season, and were ranked first in the nation by USA Today. He then attended Georgetown University and enjoyed an outstanding collegiate career. In his four seasons at Georgetown, he was amongst career leaders in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals in school history, finishing no lower than seventh in any category. As a freshman, he scored 19 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the University of Houston in the 1984 national championship game which the Hoyas won 84–75. As a senior during the 1986–87 season, Williams was the leader of a young team which became a contender for a national championship. During that season he led the Big East in scoring, and led the team in rebounding, steals and blocked shots, and was third in assists. Because of Williams's play, it led Georgetown coach Thompson to dub the team “Reggie and the Miracles”. The team won a share of the 1986–87 Big East Championship and the Big East Tournament. In the 1987 NCAA tournament, the Hoyas reached the Southeast Regional Final, but lost to Providence College, 88–73.

Williams was selected with the fourth pick overall of the 1987 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. He spent ten seasons (1987–1997) in the league, playing for the Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets, Indiana Pacers and New Jersey Nets. He retired with career totals of 7,508 points and 2,393 rebounds.

Life after the NBA, Williams became the boys' basketball coach at Towson Catholic High School on May 30, 2009. He had previously served in the same capacity at Jericho Christian Academy in Landover, Maryland until it closed several weeks later. In 2010, he became coach at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, DC. He resigned in February, 2013.

Michael Britt:

Micheal ‘P Bird’ Britt was, selected by the Washington Bullets in the 2nd round of the 1983 NBA Draft. Known for his phenomenal slam-dunks at the University of District of Columbia, he averaged 24.3 points, 12.4 rebounds in his senior year at UDC. In 1982 he was named the outstanding player in NCAA Division II basketball and his team won the Championship. Olympic Gold Medalist for 1982 R.W. Jones Cup in China coached by Hall Of Famer coach George Raveling. Played professionally 8 year South American, Europe, and the Philippines.

He currently runs year round youth basketball training programs and works with kids from Tidewater, VA area. He also produces an annual basketball tournament and fundraiser in his hometown of Suffolk, VA. Now in its 5th year, the tournament attracts both youth players and retired NBA players primarily from the east coast.

Michael Graham:

Michael ‘The Enforcer’ Graham is a former semi-pro basketball player and a member of the 1984 Georgetown Hoyas NCAA Championship team. Voted one of the Top 50 Greatest College Basketball Players of All Time his name was made famous after his exceptional performance in the 1984 N.C.A.A championship tournament. Named MVP semi-final game against Kentucky, 1984 NCAA All-Tourney Team; 1984 All Big East Rookie Team; 1983 3rd team All Big East

Post his semi-pro basketball career he completed his degree in business managementand for the last 3 decades worked in both retail and waste management. He is currently completing his Masters in Sports and Business Management at Georgetown University.

David Wingate:

David Wingate is a former NBA professional basketball player. He played 15 years in the NBA with six teams. A member of the iconic Baltimore, Dunbar Poets, he played on the team that went 34-0 in one season. He went on to attend Georgetown University where during his freshman season in 1982-1983 he was named to the Big East Conference all-rookie team.

During his sophomore year, Wingate led the team in steals and averaged 11 points per game, en route to Georgetown winning the 1984 NCAA Men’s Division I BasketballTournament. He averaged 16 points a game in his senior year, trailing only Reggie Williams, and played 1,000 minutes without being fouled out. Upon graduation, Wingate was the Hoya's third all-time leading scorer behind Eric Floyd and Patrick Ewing.

Wingate had a 15-year NBA career spanning from 1986 to 2001. He was selected in the second round with the 44th pick of the 1986 Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers. He also played for the San Antonio Spurs, Washington Bullets, Charlotte Hornets, Seattle Super Sonics and New York Knicks. After his pro career he began public speaking, charitable work and running local basketball training camps in his hometown of Baltimore, MD.
