India has costal line of 7516.6 km running through the states of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andre Pradesh, Orissa, West Bengal, and UTs of Diu & Daman, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar islands.

Coastal areas have to deal with threats such as illegal immigration, smuggling, illegal fishing, oil spills, and piracy.

Indian coast guard is responsible for coastal security in territorial waters including areas to be patrolled by coastal Police.

Guwahati has its own region for securing the eastern areas

There is no such border in the air but an estimate take about 10km flight can move or pass but cant beyond the 10km if they want then they have to move by the land border.
