    Romans Paul

    1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: .

    11 For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end yemay be established;

    1 Corinthians Paul

    1:2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth.5 That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge;

    10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak

    the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joinedtogether in the same mind and in the same judgment.

    2 Corinthians Paul

    1:1. unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all

    Achaia:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which

    are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

    6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual

    in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted,it is for your consolation and salvation.Galatians Paul

    1:2 unto the churches of Galatia:

    8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that

    which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

    9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto youthan that ye have received, let him be accursed.

    10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased

    men, I should not be the servant of Christ.11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

    12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of JesusChrist.Ephesians Paul

    1:1 .to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:

    4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that weshould be holy and without blame before him in love:

    5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself,

    according to the good pleasure of his will,

    10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one allthings in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

    11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the

    purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:Philippians Paul

    1:1 to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and

    deacons:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will

    perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

    Colossians Paul

    1:2 To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse:9 . and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom

    and spiritual understanding;

    10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every goodwork, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

    1 Thessalonians - Paul

    1:1 unto the church of the Thessalonians4 Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God.

    5 For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy

    Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for

    your sake.9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how

    ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

    10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus,

    which delivered us from the wrath to come.2 Thessalonians Paul

    1:1 unto the church of the Thessalonians5 Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted

    worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer:

    6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble

    you;7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from

    heaven with his mighty angels,

    8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not thegospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

    1 Timothy Paul

    2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith:3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou

    mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

    4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, ratherthan godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

    2 TimothyPaul

    2 To Timothy, my dearly beloved son:

    6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in theeby the putting on of my hands.

    7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound

    mind.8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner:

    but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;Titus Paul

    4 To Titus, mine own son after the common faith:

    5 For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are

    wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee:

    6 If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of

    riot or unruly.

    7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not selfwilled, not soon angry,not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

    8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

    9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sounddoctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

    13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the

    faith;14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the

    truth.

    15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is

    nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and

    disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.Philemon Paul

    2 And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thyhouse:

    6 That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging ofevery good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

    7 For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are

    refreshed by thee, brother.Hebrews uncertain attributed to Paul

    James James (the brother of Jesus)

    1:1 to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.

    2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

    3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting

    nothing.

    5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, andupbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

    6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the

    sea driven with the wind and tossed.

    7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

    1 Peter Peter

    1:1 to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, andBithynia,

    4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in

    heaven for you,5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in

    the last time.

    6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness

    through manifold temptations:

    7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth,

    though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the

    appearing of Jesus Christ:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister

    the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto

    you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to lookinto.

    2 PeterPeter

    1:1 to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness ofGod and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

    4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye

    might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world

    through lust.5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue

    knowledge;

    6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

    7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren

    nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that

    he was purged from his old sins.1 John John

    1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen withour eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

    2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you

    that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have

    fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus

    Christ.4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

    5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God

    is light, and in him is no darkness at all.6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not

    the truth:

    7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another,

    and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

    9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us

    from all unrighteousness.10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

    2 John John

    1:1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not Ionly, but also all they that have known the truth;

    4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a

    commandment from the Father.

    5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee,

    but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

    6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment,That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

    3 John John

    1:1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy

    soul prospereth.

    3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee,even as thou walkest in the truth.

    4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.Jude Uncertain probably Peter

    3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it wasneedful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the

    faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

    4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this

    condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, anddenying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.

    5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord,having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed

    not.Revelation John

    1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servantsthings which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his

    servant John:

    2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of allthings that he saw.

    3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep

    those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
