Asado de boda: The name of this recipe is commemorative that the plate was especially served at thewedding of the state. It consists of a stewed pork with guajillo sauce and ancho chili. It is a robust dishquite spicy and the meat used is usually leg or pork tenderloin.

Enchiladas zacatecanas: A regional dish from Zacatecas, these enchiladas are known to be made withpork or cheese filling and a sauce made of poblano, guajillo or ancho peppers.

Tostadas jerezanas: Fried tortilla on which they put pork skins or pork´s fallopian ans accompanied by asauce that is made of tomate, onion, chilli, avocado and oregano for seasoning. The name of this regionaldish comes from a magical village in Zacatecas called Jerez.

It was opened in 1998 and expanded in 2001, and enrolled in anineteenth century it was a Theological Seminary of and laterState Penitentiary. It has 15 permanent exhibition halls. The collection is made up: a retrospective of Manuel Felguérez,with more than 100 works, and a permanent collection ofabstract art, comprising over 120 works by local and foreignartists. Address: Colon s / n esq. MuseumPedro Coronel Museum

It was opened in 1984 to commemorate the 70th anniversary ofthe battle of “La toma de Zacatecas” and leave evidence ofwhat happened in our city. It is a simple museum, easy andpleasant journey. Its halls clothes and weapons used during the battle, machineguns, hand guns, and long-range cannon.

University Museum of Science of the Autonomous University ofZacatecas It has an exhibition of a permanent collection of apparatus forthe study of physics, cosmography, geography and engineeringof the nineteenth century, collected by the scientist JoséZacatecas Tree and Bonilla.
