Orang-utans are endangered in Borneo, Indonesia,

due to heavy logging and planting of palm trees for oil.

playplanet is engaged to support the local community to build a

sustainable habitat for the fascinating orang-utans and does so by

spreading information on the issue, connecting investors and de-

signers to help the locals to develop alternative sources of income,

as oppose to selling their land and work for the logging industry. playplanet have already held a exhibi-

tion about Borneo and is now collecing funds for further product development produced by the locals.

Playboholbohol, Philippines

playplanet collaborates with the local team PlayBohol to

improve the environmental situation in the Philippines!

PlayBohol is a youth-group with great care for their community! PlayBohol have taken

action into their own hands and passionatly worked with sea conservation and environmental

issues in this tourist-intense area. playplanet and PlayBohol develops specially designed programs

for travelers to partake in the daily life and improve the beautiful nature in Bohol. PlayBohol uses

the money earned through hosting to buy equipment and develop their community and

conserve the sea.
