Nanjingthe city with one of the most
glorious memory in China
Not like other modern cities, people to Nanjing will be impressed by its well-preserved traditional
architecture and historical sights. Parts of the ancient city walls and gates are still intact, which sets Nanjing apart from most ancient Chinese cities. Here you will
encounter plenty of gorgeous objects speaking highly of
the city’s long history. Jiangnan silk, WuNong whispers,
folk arts, Chinese cuisine and tra-ditional sneaks.
If you want to know about a
country, to know about a city, to
know about its culture, best way is
to live like the people there. To
experience, to discover, to dig, to
explore.
If you want to get the real cultural
experience in Nanjing, you should
be with us. Join us, be a global
volunteer of AIESEC, join our team,
Explore China-Nanjing.
-Explore China-Nanjing is a project of AIESEC NJU. It's a platform for
trainees to know and understand China better, especially Nanjing. It’s
a chance to explore the inner Chinese culture in Nanjing, the city with
one of the most glorious memory in China.
-With your exploration and story, we’ll explore the breath-taking culture with
different methods. As a volunteer we will explore series of Nanjing traditional
culture or custom and participate in different kinds of cultural activities.
-We will visit folk artists to learn the history and story behind Chinese exquisite
handicrafts and perform Nanjing traditional opera. We will explore local food and
cultural ruins. We will explore the mysterious history and beauty of the streets and
alleyways. Also you will have a chance to explore and experience the real Chinese
spring festival.
-After gaining experiences of local custom and Chinese culture, you will use different medias to
spread what you have witnessed and learn about China to people. You will send articles or
photos to the social media or post them to public platform on Wechat. You will bring your
story to neighborhood or campus, deliver shows about folk arts to the communities or
students and appeal to traditional arts in attractive ways.
