Creating of film
In the beginning of
June, we made a film about legends of Riga. The
students of our school
from 2-8 grade took part in this film. We
wrote the text and then we learned the lines by heart. We were making this film in different places: at school and
on the island Dole at the Daugava Museum. Unexpected weather conditions and some technical
problems gave us a big experience in making films. This film was shown to students of our school and
published on website of school.

Trip to Vilnius When our
summer holidays started, we went
to Lithuania. There we met
our friends from our first meeting. We spent there
two days, and we had such a good time. The first
day was fantastic, we were in DIY (do it yourself) rooms and
then we went to Vilnus centre, later that day we had a party with our teachers and schoolmates till
3am. On our 2nd day we had a sports event and later we had a trip around Vilnius. After that we
said goodbye to our friends and went home. Kristena 7. b
Our trips to Riga We visited the museum of the
History of Riga and Navigation to get information about Riga’s legends. We
saw models of ships, sailing boats,
ancient weapons and jewelry.
After the visit to museum we went to Riga old town. We visited some of the mysterious places in
Old Riga.
We travelled to Riga to take photos of
UNESCO treasures for the common
project calendar. We took photos of folk
song cabinet in Latvian National
library, Great Kristaps, Swedish
Gate, The House of Blackheads and UNESCO sign in Dome square.

Lithuanian students in
Salaspils
During spring holidays
Lithuanian students came to
visit Salaspils. They were
welcome in the hall of our
school. On the first day we had sport competitions and later in the
evening they went for some activities in our workshops. On the 2nd day we had an orientation
competition in Old Riga using a map. We spent time well and after the orientation trip we went to
“Lido’’. In the evening we had a disco. Everybody had a good time. On the last day of their visit we
went to Salaspils National Botanical Garden - to see a new greenhouse. The Lithuanians enjoyed unusual tropical plants and flowers there. Then they walked along the dam of the Daugava. In the afternoon we
said goodbye and they went back to Lithuania. Kristiāns 9.a, Raivo 9.a, Vineta 7.b, Denils 7. b

Corner of Erasmus+
We created a project corner of
every single member of our
project countries and schools. We wrote the most interesting of
them and added as well pictures. We wrote, cut
and stuck together. A long year time our teachers visited
different countries and brought souvenirs, which we as well added to the corner. Now our corner has
a lot of souvenirs.
