Creating of film In the beginning of June, we made a film about legends of Riga. The students of our school from 2-8 grade took part in this film. We wrote the text and then we learned the lines by heart. We were making this film in different places: at school and on the island Dole at the Daugava Museum. Unexpected weather conditions and some technical problems gave us a big experience in making films. This film was shown to students of our school and published on website of school. Aleksandra 9.a Trip to Vilnius When our summer holidays started, we went to Lithuania. There we met our friends from our first meeting. We spent there two days, and we had such a good time. The first day was fantastic, we were in DIY (do it yourself) rooms and then we went to Vilnus centre, later that day we had a party with our teachers and schoolmates till 3am. On our 2nd day we had a sports event and later we had a trip around Vilnius. After that we said goodbye to our friends and went home. Kristena 7. b Our trips to Riga We visited the museum of the History of Riga and Navigation to get information about Riga’s legends. We saw models of ships, sailing boats, ancient weapons and jewelry. After the visit to museum we went to Riga old town. We visited some of the mysterious places in Old Riga. We travelled to Riga to take photos of UNESCO treasures for the common project calendar. We took photos of folk song cabinet in Latvian National library, Great Kristaps, Swedish Gate, The House of Blackheads and UNESCO sign in Dome square. Grieta 7. b Lithuanian students in Salaspils During spring holidays Lithuanian students came to visit Salaspils. They were welcome in the hall of our school. On the first day we had sport competitions and later in the evening they went for some activities in our workshops. On the 2nd day we had an orientation competition in Old Riga using a map. We spent time well and after the orientation trip we went to “Lido’’. In the evening we had a disco. Everybody had a good time. On the last day of their visit we went to Salaspils National Botanical Garden - to see a new greenhouse. The Lithuanians enjoyed unusual tropical plants and flowers there. Erasmus + project meeting in our school in May

The teachers from all project partner

schools came to visit our school on 5th-

6th May. The teacher from Romania came to

meet our students from 6 b grade at

the lesson. She taught us about her country and legends

of Romania. We learned about

Dambovica. The lesson with her was

amazing and interesting.

Corner of Erasmus+

We created a project corner of

every single member of our

project countries and schools. We wrote the most interesting of

them and added as well pictures. We wrote, cut

and stuck together. A long year time our teachers visited

different countries and brought souvenirs, which we as well added to the corner. Now our corner has

a lot of souvenirs.

Useful phrases in Latvian In October me and Artis we made a dictionary with Latvian most popular greeting and conversational phrases and recorded them. So the people from

other countries will know how to pronounce them. Sandis 6. c
