Company 2 has been supported by the Judith Wright Centre’s Fresh Ground program, made possible through Arts Queensland.
This project is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, part of the Department of Science, Information Technology, Innovation and the Arts.
Internationally acclaimed circus ensemble Company 2 returns for the world premiere of their enthralling new production, Sediment.
David Carberry and Chelsea McGuffin join forces with their Scotch and Soda collaborator, renowned percussionist and composer Ben Walsh, to blend circus, dance and live music into a breathtaking, dreamlike theatrical experience.
Sediment sees these seasoned performers use daring feats of physical incredibility and a soundscape drawn from unexpected instruments to create a quirky, brooding and at times, comical world, inspired by Dostoyevsky’s ‘Notes from Underground’.

What’s your wicked little secret? Let Babushka unburden your soul with their cabaret confessional of delicious musical mash-ups and glorious guilty pleasures.
Introducing Tchaikovsky to Kate Bush while Kylie crash tackles Carmen, I Can Keep A Secret dishes the dirt on Brisbane’s Alicia Cush, Arlie McCormick, Bethan Ellsmore (Women in Voice) and Judy Hainsworth (#FirstWorldWhiteGirls).
A far-wandering songbook featuring Portishead, Sondheim, Gotye and Sufjan Stevens sets the stage for a champagne soaked evening of sinfully salacious revelations.

The little red company returns to the Judith Wright Centre with their second smash hit show, the absolutely bangerz Wrecking Ball.
Hannah Montana is dead. Childhood friend Miley (Rumour Has It: Sixty Minutes Inside Adele’s Naomi Price) returns home to Nashville for the wake… but screw the funeral, it’s the party she’s come for.
In this open letter to you – her pouters and doubters – Miley takes a sledge hammer to Disney dreams, teen idols and tabloid fantasies. This is one eulogy you’ll kill to see.

MIERLE LADERMAN UKELES MAINTENANCE ART WORKS 1969 – 1980The IMA’s spring program features a new body of works by Dublin-based artist Sarah Browne, Hand to Mouth, alongside a survey of New York–based Mierle Laderman Ukeles’s Maintenance Art Works, which were produced between 1969 and 1980. This is the first time that these artists are holding solo exhibitions in Australia and they are exclusive to the IMA. In conjunction with Ukeles’s exhibition, the IMA is co-publishing Seven Works Ballet with Kunstverein Amsterdam, Arnolfini, Grazer Kunstverein, and Sternberg Press.Hand to Mouth is curated by Aileen Burns and Johan Lundh, and is co-commissioned with Centre for Contemporary Art, Derry~Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Maintenance Art Works 1969–1980 is curated by Krist Gruijthuijsen, and is a collaboration between the IMA and Grazer Kunstverein, Graz, Austria.
